What customers say

A small, peaceful campsite praised for its tidiness, friendly owners, and handy location near Armagh. Visitors highlight the family-friendly vibe, playground, and neat facilities, including spotless loos and hot showers. Some mention the narrow access road and basic kitchen, but overall, guests highly recommend for a chill stay.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked This was a quaint site, with nice little touches. A small heyshed for campers with bbq bit and comfortable seating, fairy lights but still with that outdoor feeling.
Facilities Toilets and showers(2) very clean but very basic
There is a small playground there which is fine for kiddies
The site itself is in a very scenic surrounding. I believe this is only their second season (I stand. Corrected on that) so best of luck to Joanne who was very pleasant on arrival and checked in over weekend to make sure everything was good

Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Great first camping experience for the family. Nice and peaceful views. Communal areas were clean and tidy. Adequate children’s play area but think they can easily upgrade with some more fun bits, like a cone climbing frame , proper monkey bars , covered sand pit etc. An excellent play area would draw in more families.

Disliked House next door when feeding the animals I can only assume , the smell that wafted over to the camp was horrendous , right at dinner time too for most folk. Was like a giant dog turd with a fan blowing the aroma right to your camp !!

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked It was grand but basic amenities. Sluice was a laugh when opened the door a toilet sitting there.site it's was good and clean but the lane needs a few more laybays.if coming with caravan on towing its a nightmare if someone else is coming down. That's the only downfall.

Disliked The lane up to the site. To narrow

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked Beautiful location with lots of space and a very peaceful atmosphere. My pitch (A1) felt almost like a private spot for my European camper, with everything positioned perfectly to enjoy a quiet and comfortable evening. The toilets and showers were spotless – several toilets and two very clean showers available. Having my own electric hook-up was very convenient, and the addition of a picnic table was a big plus. There’s also plenty of play equipment for children, making it family-friendly as well.

Disliked If I had to mention a downside, it would be the lack of WiFi. However, there is a strong 5G signal on site, so I could easily use my own router without any issues.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Lovely campsite with great pitch spaces. Peaceful and safe and great for kids (even though I didn’t have any with me). Lovely walk into Armagh city

Disliked Facilities very basic but everything necessary was available and as this is a new campsite I’m sure this will improve

Local attractions

Start with a stroll into Armagh to see its two cathedrals (both called St Patrick’s – don’t get confused…), visit the Armagh County Museum and Armagh Gaol and see what’s on at the Market Place Theatre & Arts Centre. The Armagh Astronomy Centre and Planetarium is worth a visit too, to see the light displays of star constellations and let kids dress up and make their own rockets. A little way out of town (10 minutes’ drive from the site) is Navan Centre & Fort, an archaeological site where costumed characters bring the Celtic legends to life on guided tours. Things are rather more refined at Ardress House and The Argory, a pair of smart stately homes about 15 minutes’ drive away. If it’s outdoor activities on the schedule, head out for walks in Loughgall Country Park (10 minutes) and Gosford Forest Park (20 minutes) or a stroll by the water at Craigavon Lake (half an hour). There’s a golf course at Loughgall as well, or you could take a tour of the orchards at Armagh Cider Company (15 minutes) for a taste of what’s known as ‘the orchard county’.
