What customers say
Spacious pitches, stunning views & super friendly owners. Great farm shop & breakfasts at the cafe. Kids love the animals! Showers cost extra & are a walk from some spots. Mostly clean, but some minor untidiness. Highly recommended, many plan to return.

We would definitely recommend a stay here.
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked The owners were very friendly and helpful, the site was very well kept and most of the pitches were flat. There is a farm shop on site for all your needs, including raw milk (stunning taste). The on site cafe served food with locally sourced ingredients. We tried the cakes and breakfast which were all delicious.

Liked Plenty of space, and lovely place to park up. Excellent farm shop with reasonable priced and tasty food.
Disliked No footpath to the pub but that is no fault of the owners haha.

Friendly staff and brilliant farm shop. Average facilities
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Fantastic farm shop, pricey but the quality and taste of food is worth it. The site was quiet and staff friendly. Grass for site is short and well kept.
Disliked Toilets needed a clean and some rubbish scattered around on site near dog poo bin and where I had parked. Long nettles near the chemical disposal point and I stung myself. Bins and showers aren’t near the field itself, worth keeping in mind for logistics of your stay. Signs stating that driving vehicles down the path required to the showers not permitted before 7:30am. No obvious signs for water fill up and didn’t find water taps on the field I was parked in with the toilet block. Might have missed these! Grey water is disposed of where chemical disposal is and no drive over drain suitable, also worth keeping in mind if people have an under slug grey water tank.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Wonderful stay at the farm, we where greeted by the owners who where lovely and guided us through everything we need. Lots of farm animals we met along the way and a sweet cat who gave us lots of rubs. Was clean, easy to navigate. Simple amenities but did us great for 2 nights, peaceful at night and some stunning views at night and when the sun set. Thank you so much! Will be staying again as we didn't get to see everything we wanted to while we visited a national trust place near by.

Liked The bloke here is very friendly and helpful and set in a good place with lovely animals onsite that you can see
Disliked Pitches are not level so you’ll need to be prepared and it’s quiet muddy so need wellies, not much to do for kids could do with a little play area on the large grass pitch signal is also very poor here

Electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked The hosts were very nice and attentive. I am sure if the weather had been better the location would have been great. The views were lovely. The shop was amazing and the cafe/restaurant was very nice, although he cafe could have done with longer opening hours. They closed at 15:00. The fact that it was a working farm was great, especially if you had kids. We don't mind paying for a shower providing the area is kept clean and tidy. I appreciate that customers could help in this area.
Disliked The toilet blocks certainly need attention. The location of them to the camping site, not good. There was no hot water in the sinks, the showers were good although no heating. A mop and bucket would have helped keep them clean as people could have mopped the shower area when finished. There didn't seem to be any staff cleaning of the facilities.

A budget site, ok for one night.
Electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Good sized pitch. Pitches weren't allocated, so it was nice to pick our own. Lovely farm shop. We didn't visit the cafe, but it was nice having that option. Loved looking at the goats, donkeys, pigs and cows. Toilets were a bit dated, but clean. Owners were very friendly.
We probably wouldn't stay again, but will definitely come back to visit the shop and cafe.
Very reasonably priced.
Disliked Not really a criticism, but because this is a working farm there was quite a lot of noise from a radio and generators coming from the cow shed. There was also a strong fishy smell when we arrived. This later turned into a more normal farmyard smell, which was ok.
