What customers say
Beautiful sea views, peaceful vibes, and big pitches are a winner here. Super clean barn facilities (showers, tea/coffee, fridges, freezers, microwave) and surprisingly fresh compost loos impress. Owners are a gem. A few grumbles about narrow access and a slight slope, but awesome value, say guests.

A lovely site that I will return to
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked A lovely location. The owners have a great relaxed attitude. They provide tea, coffee, kettles, a microwave, fridges etc. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained.

We spent five nights here from…
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked We spent five nights here from 31st July to 5th August - we had the best time in glorious weather. The site is huge and peaceful with big views over the fields and the sea, and near some of the prettiest villages and beaches in the country. All ages seem to feel comfortable and welcome here. Rob is completely on top of everything - loos and showers and barn area (very handy fridges and freezers, power points etc.) are kept immaculately clean, and he is always around to chat. He is also very vigilant about noise, everything was quiet after 10pm - which I loved, as it's why we chose a site like this. We swam everyday - South Milton the nearest beach but my favourite probably Bantham where we had a sunset swim and picnic while watching the surfers. Salcombe and Dartmouth also lovely towns with lots to do and more great beaches nearby. Just a lovely holiday.
Disliked A few people have mentioned the very narrow roads and high hedges in the area - it was a bit of an issue. You need to be a confident driver and good at reversing!

One of the best we've been too.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked What a gorgeous setting with far reaching views to the sea. The facilities are excellent, and there is absolutely nothing to dislike about this pop up campsite. We walked to the lovely beach on both days of our stay and swam in the sea.
Disliked It was little tight for our van to get down the lane to the site.

Would stay again as the views were amazing
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Spectacular views of the Sea. Large field on the side of a hill
Disliked You could pitch anywhere but some places not very flat and depending where you pitch the facilities could be quite a walk
The track in is also very narrow

Would highly recommend. Great site. Great location. Would return.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Amazing facilities - wish more campsites had this. Do not be put off by the compost loos they were very well maintained and cleaner than many other campsites standard loos. Huge shower spaces for families and communal area in the barn with drinks and fab facilities were very much appreciated. Owners lovely and helpful. Plenty of space so never felt over crowded.
Disliked Leaving.

Liked Really lovely little campsite. The setup in the barn with kettles, microwave and fridge/freezers is a great addition, and made it easy to have a quick breakfast in the morning.
