Peaceful, tidy spot with friendly owners. Level, private pitches. Handy for M5 & local shops. Limited facilities when busy, few nearby walks to pubs.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Easy access from the motorway. Helpful instructions from the site owners. Loved the greeting from the friendly campsite cat.
Disliked We turned up in the worst weather conditions at the end of the season, so it's difficult to comment on the campsite as a whole. First impressions count tho, and the very tired and scruffy caravan, with lots of stuff around it doesn't do the site any favours.

Perfect over nighter to explore the cathedral @ Exeter or the moors.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Nice quiet site, very easy from the M5 if you are looking to break up a long trip south or a trip to France. Toilets / showers clean, but limited in number. All the usual Elsan disposal and recycling. Approach well sign posted. Enough room to get a full outfit off the road while you unlock the gate. Perfect information provided over SMS day before. Wyndham arms in Kentisbear was a nice local. Try a small glass of "The general"
Disliked Approach from Cullompton / M5 on A373 is fine.
I would not recommend recommend approach from Kerswell direction on A373.
I would take a long detour to avoid it, since the A road is not wide enough in all places to allow an articulated lorry and touring caravan to pass. I had a rather hair raising squeeze, with a lot of backed up traffic.

Liked Spacious and flat, ideal for the kids games. Nice walk to a pleasant village.
Disliked Unfortunately the pub wasn’t open after our little stroll, but the little village stores were!
