What customers say

Hosts are lekker, site is spick and span, food (especially pizza!) is top-notch. Accommodation comfy, with nice touches. Great spot for families, though signage and loo facilities could be better when it’s busy. Awesome location for sights and beaches.

Liked A superb, family friendly site who couldn't have been more accommodating. Spacious, clean tents and ample facilities to use. The adjoining park and food vans proved very popular. Local to many great beaches and attractions. Definitely worth a visit to this lovely, family run site.

Liked Fantastic site! Hosts were so friendly and helpful. The site was very clean and quiet after 10pm which was perfect for us with young children. The pizzas and breakfast in the morning were amazing! My son said they were 'unbelievable'! We only stayed for one night but we will definitely be back in the future for a longer stay.

Bell tent (deluxe)

Liked Comfortable beds, reasonably stocked kitchen and clean ablutions. I would definitely stay again.

Disliked Disappointed as no fridge so impossible to keep fresh milk. The cool box and I’ve blocks provided didn’t really do the job.
Could also do with better signage on the roads.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thanks so much for your kind words and recommendation, we’re really glad you enjoyed the comfy beds, clean facilities, and kitchen setup!

We just wanted to gently mention that LIVIT is proudly off-grid, and part of the charm for many guests is embracing that simpler, eco-friendly setup. While we don’t offer fridges, we’ve found that the cool boxes and ice blocks usually do the trick, most guests haven’t had trouble keeping essentials like milk cold. If more ice blocks were needed, we have plenty available in the communal freezer, just ask and we’re always happy to help!

We’ll also take a look at the road signage, thanks for the suggestion!

Hope to welcome you back again soon.

Liked Incredibly clean, comfortable beds, little extras that made a big difference I.e ice blocks, towels, tea, coffee, biscuits, blankets, matches, bbq…… mark was so helpful, a little text in the morning to let us know he will be making breakfast rolls if we wanted some! Definitely be returning.

Bell tent (deluxe)

Liked Very welcoming and caring, ready with help and advice. Also spacious ‘glamping’ tent, which stayed mostly dry despite wet weather. Welcoming hot chocolate and a small arrangement of flowers were laid on. Later we were able to cook over a fire pit and relax in a quiet field at this very unspoiled and friendly campsite.
