Time for a peaceful stay in Padstow? With views of the estuary and the countryside, Padstow Campsite is just over 10 minutes’ walk from Padstow harbour and the ferry to Rock. Good news for the keen walkers among you, there are plenty of trails within walking distance too, including the South West Coast Path, the Camel Trail and the Saints’ Way. The spacious grass pitches at this family-run, pop-up site are based on Trevethan Farm in a prominent position in Padstow. The pitches have access to showers and toilets, and they’re also dog-friendly and family-friendly. For those hoping to leave their car in one spot, the farm is within walking distance of local bus routes to destinations like Wadebridge, Newquay and Bodmin. There’s also Padstow right at your fingertips, of course, where it’s possible to get stuck into sailing, watersports, sea safaris, speedboat trips, fishing and cycling on the Camel Trail. If you’re craving a beach day, the site is a short drive from a handful of local beaches, including Trevone Bay five minutes’ drive away and Harlyn Bay beach 10 minutes’ drive away. If you’re ever in need of sunset snacks, breakfast cereals or other essentials, a large supermarket is a couple of minutes' walk away from Padstow Campsite.

  • The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
  • Single-sex bookings of 4 or more people (excluding couples) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
  • If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
  • Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.

Short walk into Padstow and close to our favourite beaches in Cornwall.

Liked Nice greeting on arrival, just phone the mobile number provided on arrival. Simple no thrills campsite. Good views, Views of the estuary if you're in the right spot or views of rolling hills where ever you camp here. Another plus is thats its only a short walk 15 minutes down the hill to get to the harbour and town.

Disliked Nothing for me to dislike.

Liked Enorm groot veld met vrije staanplaatsen. naast de Tesco (die 7 dagen per week open is) Het was er (13 en 14 juni) behoorlijk druk. Zo’n 15 minuten lopen Noor het leuke stadje Padstow

Disliked geen elektriciteit, ongelijkmatig terrein, wc (heel) ver weg en winderig. Maar 1 afwasplaats en 1 kraan voor drinkwater. Geen plankje in de douche voor shampoo, geen wc-borstel op de toiletten

Liked The space available, the view, the meet and greet gave me all the information I needed. The toilets and showers were very clean

Liked Large field with no allocated spaces so I could choose my own, I didn’t bring van levellers with me but stayed at a very small angle which didn’t bother us. It’s really quiet, the staff were on hand as soon as we arrived and were really helpful. 4 toilets, 3 showers for the site which was more than enough whilst we stayed, didn’t have to wait for any of it. It’s roughly 10-15 minute walk into Padstow, it’s a large hill so just take that into consideration. Overall lovely place and I would stay again if I wanted to head over to Padstow for a night or two.
