What customers say

Nice, peaceful spot with great views. Toilets and showers spotless, plenty of space. Owners super friendly. Ideal for a chill break. Fire pits available, dog field too. A few want a play area, and some noise sometimes, but most rave about it and plan to come back.

Electric optional grass tent pitch

Liked Very clean site, tranquil and peaceful. Owner was very pleasant, chatty and helpful. Site has wooden bences on every pitch which is a very nice touch. Fire pits you can hire make all the difference with plentiful supply of decent dry wood to burn

Disliked Didn't dislike anything, we plan to return next season but if I was to make one suggestion it would be a climbing frame for kids to enjoy or a small park....nothing extravagant just something to help occupy little kids with no siblings

Electric optional grass tent pitch

Liked Clean and tidy.

Disliked More info needed on pitch up. After booking received a email containing new information.
‘Our camping field is not allocated into pitches. It's just an open field on a gradient with hookup points in the centre.’ Pitches are market out, not very clearly as my pitch had people driving over it to get round the back rather than using the road!!. Didn’t get a 6m gap between pitches. And the gradient is far more significant than made out to be. Photos don’t do it justice. Pans fell on the hob, drinks / plates slid off the table, the bed was held in place with the back of the tent. Was a fantastic work out retrieving things rolled down the hill…

Not allowed to use your own fire pits, can hire their approved fire pits and wood.

Unfortunately wasn’t able to have a pitch reserved, this is stated before booking but seems like an easy thing to implement.

Electric optional grass tent pitch

Liked We loved the size of the campsite, only a few pitches amd lodges making it quiet and cozy, loads of room per pitch, also lots of empty field space to play and explore!
We loved the dog walk field. Very clean. Great addition having a picnic bench per pitch!

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Came back today from a gorgeous 2 night stay in our motorhome. You can tell how much hard work has been put into this wonderful site. Everywhere is immaculate and everything has been thoroughly thought through. Dog field is excellent, vending machine with treats but also items you may have forgotten to bring like toothpaste and shampoo etc. Probably the best views from a site we have ever seen. Will definitely be back and we certainly appreciate all the effort you put into making this a 5* site. Well done 👍🏻
