What customers say
Small, basic site by The Harrington Arms pub (great food, friendly). Pitches neat with picnic tables & EHU. Facilities clean, a bit old-fashioned for some. Frequent road noise from A-road (weekdays), but manageable, especially at night. Ideal for short stays.

From the manager: Hi, there’s no expectation for you to dine in the pub but we wouldn’t bring doing our job if we didn’t ask and especially the night you came because we were very busy and wanted to make sure campers atleast get the chance to. Thanks

Fully-serviced grass and gravel motorhome pitch
Liked Perfectly placed for a one night stop-over on way to Lake district. Friendly pub with lovely food (not open every day). Great walk around the reservoir. Good sized level pitch. Toilet & shower clean and functional though the trees needed pruning as got caught in door! Yes its a bit noisy from the road but warns of this in the reviews and didn't bother us at all.
