What customers say
A top spot! Clean, well-kept with great facilities like a heated pool, play areas & tennis. Staff are friendly. Pitches spacious. Minor notes on hot water/toilet cleanliness at peak times, plus accessibility/updating needs for some.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The electric hookup worked.
Disliked That there was no one on reception and the pool closed hours earlier than advertised, same as reception. Had to call several people and leave messages and then call another person to be able to access the site. Finally got in after a long wait and still didn’t get a pitch number. Called back to ask the number and the person despite making us wait couldn’t be bothered to drop the envelope with the details to us. I’m disabled and my driver went to collect it. After this palaver we looked forward to a swim. Got in the pool, 2 minutes later someone arrives to say it’s closing early today. Regulars at the site were also quite annoyed at this.
Despite being advertised as with accessible facilities this isn’t the case. Wheelchair users should avoid.
Really not worth the money unless you have a tourer with your own facilities and don’t mind the facilities not being available, even basic things like staff and the pool, which is their big selling point.

Lovely site - will be back
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Lovely clean campsite - with the bonus of a heated outdoor pool! 2 great play parks, 2 fishing lakes, tennis courts and a games room.
Staff were very friendly and there was a nice cafe with outdoor patio overlooking the lake.
We had a great time. Nice pub/restaurant a 10 min walk away too.
Would definitely recommend it and would go back if in the area.
Disliked Unfortunately the cafe stops serving at 1.30pm on a Sunday - so that was a bit disappointing and frustrating.

Liked The place is absolutely amazing. It's very busy but lovely. Loads of kids and teens. They all play well together. The pitches are great. You have electric and fresh water supply. I have been various times now. As a single parent it's hard to feel safe in places, but there I feel like I can let my child out without worrying. I will go again for sure
Disliked The pool need a little repair, otherwise it's fab.

Liked The incredibly friendly staff, the sparkling clean facilities, the play park, the awesome wildlife wandering around, good touring pitches, flat and well maintained, nice pool which the kids enjoyed. Nice to have a cafe on site, will be nice to see the milk dispenser going if we come back.
