What customers say
A friendly, clean, well-equipped campsite, great for families. Guests love the facilities, location, and especially the farm animals (piglets!). Road noise sometimes mentioned, but earplugs offered or not a problem. Owners are very accommodating. Excellent value for exploring the area.

Nice site, helpful owner, easy to find and close by local shops & pubs
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Spacious pitches, well presented and close to local amenities. Staff were present on arrival and extremely helpful. The site was clean and well equipped, easy to find and felt safe.
Disliked Noisy, the site is located close to a busy road, there was road noise throughout the night, absolutely not a fault of the site or the owner but made sleeping very difficult.

Could do with grey waist and toilet disposal
Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Scenery
Disliked Noises from the two main roads. There was a nice walk along the river but to access we had a busy road to cross. The facilities are very basic.

From the manager: I'm sorry you didnt enjoy your stay with us.
It is quite clear in the email we send out after recieving the booking that we dont have toilet waste disposal facility.
We are also clearly marked on the map how close we are to the road and public transport network.
I can appreciate you didnt enjoy the location but I am disappointed you marked down the cleanliness as we are proud of how we maintain the site.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Stay in May half term. This was our second stay at this site and again Jonathan and Carol really helped to make our stay great. The campsite wasn't overcrowded even though there were 20+ people pitching up over the weekend.
Facilities were kept clean and they're was never a long wait to have a shower. The ability to keep drinks and food cold in the fridges in the barn were really useful as was the ability to charge phones.
Bought free range eggs and sausages which were delicious.

From the manager: sorry about one of the showers, turns out someone had taken the shower heads off in all showers. When we put them back we didnt do it correctly hence one of the showers was tripping the system, all sorted now. Glad you enjoyed the rest of the stay
Friendly staff. Decent enough site though a little pricy.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Plenty of space and well kept.
Disliked Traffic noise from the nearby A65. Showers a bit cramped.
