What customers say
Nice, well-placed spot with friendly hosts. Guests love the scenery, farm animals & big, flat pitches. Ablutions are clean & decent, though a bit dated. Good value for a chill countryside escape.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Stayed here last night with my 2 children, Really nice place to camp, friendly owners, felt really safe, toilets and showers were clean, nice views of the animals in the fields, very friendly atmosphere with the other campers everyone was respectful of each other, 5min walk down the road to the shop and pubs if wanted, nice walk in the woods behind the camp, will definitely stay here again 🙂
Disliked Nothing.

Fabulous place - we’ll come again.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The location was excellent for the places we wanted to visit with our children.
We loved that we could pitch where we wanted when we got there so chose a sunny spot. We were also fortunate to have a water supply right next to where we pitched but there were loads of these scattered around the site.
There was a microwave to use and a fridge and freezer which was a great addition for a campsite. It made packed lunching so much easier.
Disliked Although the showers were great, warm and powerful enough. It would be nicer if these facilities were updated slightly.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Location easy to get to from motorway, friendly check in at cafe. Toilets clean and 2 showers and washing up area all had plenty of hot water. Plenty of space at site and not overcrowded. You can choose where you want to pitch.
Plenty of wildlife, animals and activities to do either on site, or close by. Enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
Disliked I don't know if there would be enough showers if the site was full.

Perfect little spot for camping
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Spacious field in a great location to explore the Peak District. If you have kids the animals are great to see. Check in was painless, the owner was pleasant and quickly ran through everything including the shower facilities which were very clean.
Disliked A little close to a road that you cross for the showers but it wasn’t too busy.
