What customers say
Developing site, lauded for peace, clean modern ablutions, and big pitches. Lovely rural spot, though signs could be clearer. Showers cost, Wi-Fi iffy. More to come. Some noise from other campers, no kids' stuff or staff.

Lovely little site located not far…
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely little site located not far from Hornsea and Mappleton. A small kitchen area and shower and toilet block. Electric hookup and water in the field. A couple of picnic benches in the field and a few tables and chairs outside the facilities block. We really enjoyed our stay here and are hopeful to come back again next year.

Wont stop again
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Small site, quiet, has a washing machine, microwave n kettle inside and good washing up area.
Good camping ground drainage.
Disliked A few things we have stopped before last year but not again.
A drain in the camping section had faeces around it with alot of toilet tissue grandson fell over on the tissue and got human faeces on him. Another drain cover moved and part of the mans leg fell in it and got wet. Both issues reported owner was apologetic and was dealt with a board being put on toilet tissue one and a cone being put on the other.
Toilet block 1 shower was broke so only 1 shower working for the whole site. Toilet roll is kept on the floor so water, urine is on them. Disabled/ baby changing toilet has a dip in the floor you loose your balance on due to the fact the toilet leaks water from the u bend as the cistern is away from the wall and when you sit on the toilet it all moves so floor looks like its rotting underneath.
Boundary fence around the tents is rotting and in parts broken.
We felt its not being looked after as much as last year at the beginning of the season. Such a shame really. Talking to other campers they said they wouldn't stop there again.

Disgusting!!!
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The fields around the site are great for spotting wildlife. We saw a barn owl, pheasants and numerous other birds, plus rabbits and dear.
Disliked There was only 1 shower working for 3 out of the 4 days we were there, the day we left both were out. This was a bank holiday and roughly 40 people has 1 shower between them. Trying to get ready was a nightmare. The shower/toilet block was disgusting. It wasn't cleaned, or if it was, not often enough. There was mud, grass, water, wet toilet roll and what looked like urine on the floor. The disabled toilet was leaking and the floor is rotten with big dips in it. There wasn't even a mop and bucket available. The sewage manhole in the middle of the tent camping grass came over with raw sewage. A child came into contact with this. The owners solution to this was to put a sheet of chipboard over the top. There was soiled toilet paper all around the manhole for 2 days and it was still there when we left. At a very minimum you would expect it to be cleaned and disinfected. The fence could do with some attention, broken in many areas and just left hanging. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Nothing…
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Nothing
Disliked Didn’t even stay, pulled in went through what looked liked a scrapyard to the camping area in a tiny car park outside the fenced off grass where we would of had to carry our extremely heavy tent across to the pitch. Not ideal so didn’t stay
