A daily river taxi service also runs from Stratford Parks Holiday Park to Stratford-upon-Avon, where there are Shakespeare attractions and lots of places to eat or shop. Lovely riverside spot, easy water taxi to Stratford. Friendly staff, clean clubhouse & loos. Some loos/showers a bit dated, and pitches can be close.

Liked Location by river, nice walk or river taxi into town large plots, great food from nice entertainment venue. Good facilities for motorhome to fill with water and empty grey tank. Great staff.

Disliked Lack of small shop for things like milk etc.

Liked This was our second visit to this wonderful site and we weren't disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the site is spacious, well maintained, clean and quiet. Onsite bar/restaurant is lovely and very reasonably priced. Stratford town centre is only 1 mile away, an easy 20 minute walk or £3 for the water taxi.

Disliked I was disappointed with the toilet/shower block (at least the male side), although relatively clean it is in a poor state of repair with missing or broken locks on the cubicles, low pressure out of at least one of the showers, drains slow to drain standing water etc.

Liked Great location, only 20/25 minute walk into Stratford. Nice clean site with plenty of facilities. Nice flat pitch. River taxi option was great, lovely helpful staff.

Disliked Food and service at the venue bar was over priced and poor quality, over cooked fish, rock hard cold peas not great.

Liked Location location! Plot by the river.
Nice guy fitted us in as we were one night. Really helpful staff and a nice 30 min walk into Stratford.

Disliked I’m afraid the toilet shower block is dated but clean. I’m currently in France at a site (by the Seine) at a third of the price per night . £52 per night is just too much .

Log Pod camping pod

Liked Nothing . very disappointed as we love the riverside . We stay every year in our camper . But was late booking and couldn't get on. So when we saw the log pod available we thought we would give it a try.

Disliked Having to park on the carpark. And it was more than 100 yards away. So had to carry all our stuff to the log pod in the pouring rain. Sofa bed was like sleeping on railroad tracks. Door didnt close properly. Toilet block also is a metal container with 3 toilets and 3 showers. Showers just trickled out and didnt look like cleaners ever went in.

For a change from the river taxi, guests can stroll into Stratford-upon-Avon to take in a play from the Royal Shakespeare Company, have a flutter at the races, or visit the many Shakespeare sights dotted around the city. There’s also excellent retail therapy to be had here, as well as in the elegant surrounding towns of Cheltenham, Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick. 
Sporty types will find golf courses, swimming pools and many other facilities nearby, and of course there are plenty of good walking opportunities along the river and out into the lovely Warwickshire countryside. Further along the banks of the Avon are the stately country house of Charlecote Park, and winsome Warwick Castle, which has plenty of things to do and see for all ages. Also nearby are the majestic ruins of Kenilworth Castle, where Robert Dudley and Elizabeth I used to make out; or you could follow in the footsteps of the Gunpowder Plotters of 1605 with a visit to Coughton Court. At the Ragley Hall Estate, visitors can take a tour of the Palladian mansion, go sculpture spotting in the Capability Brown parkland, or lose themselves in the 3D maze. The site is also a great base from which to explore the villages and landscapes of the Cotswolds.
