The park's Riverside Venue Bar and Restaurant has a delicious variety of food and drink, as well as events throughout the high season and on some weekends. There's a multi-sports pitch on site for family games and over a mile and half of free river fishing for those who want to spend a peaceful afternoon on the river banks. A daily river taxi service also runs from Stratford Parks Holiday Park to Stratford-upon-Avon, where there are Shakespeare attractions and lots of places to eat or shop. Arriving with a furry companion? There are also designated dog-walking areas on site.

A popular spot, with great location and staff. The river taxi to Stratford is a big plus. Facilities are mostly clean, though showers could do with an update. Bar and restaurant are lekker. Spacious pitches, well-managed site. Many would come back!

Liked Clean site. Friendly, welcoming staff. Lots to do, especially if travelling with kids. Loved the river boat transfer to town but also an easy walk. Spar about 15 minutes away.

Pitches level. Well laid out with plenty of space between them. Nice family atmosphere, with kids roaming/playing freely but not causing a nuisance.

Great facilities. A little dated but well maintained and clean. Push button shower but cubicle set out nicely and nice hot water.

Pub/restaurant was a great touch. Not cheap but also not the most expensive either. Food was good quality and pretty much value for money.

Disliked Nothing to dislike really. If being picky, could have done with more space between washing up sinks. Hand dryers in toilets were noisy (our fault as we asked for a pitch near the facilities), but they did close the doors at night.

Poor phone and TV signal (not the sites fault). WiFi appeared to be paid for and not free.

Liked Location, facilities, & Dave the site warden.

Disliked The muddy oar , Short staffed, 1 lady member of staff on the bar ( who was brilliant by the way) )on a late July lunchtime crazy.

The chicken & cheese wraps were awful
Cold and dumped into the table, no mention of where the condiments were as we had to walk around the bar trying to find where they lived. so we never went back there again, & I would recommend the crown pub a short walk away. Also no onsite shop for essentials
But was willing to sell you a holiday home.

Snug Pod camping pod

Liked I liked the location and the river running through the complex. It was clean and tidy.

Disliked The pod was small, very hot overnight as only one window could be opened. The beds were very uncomfortable. The pods needed a bit of TLC.

Liked Location is spot on, staff are happy and helpful. Showers and toilet blocks where always clean.
Muddy Owe was a nice spot to sit and entertainment was good. River taxi was a lovely touch to our stay.

Disliked No ball games, yet a family across from us played football in between two caravans, at one point the ball hit a dog of a couple staying across from them. Dislike that the hook up is quite a distance which in my opinion ment that there were electric cables
All over and some not layed properly making it more of a trip hazard.

Local attractions

For a change from the river taxi, guests can stroll into Stratford-upon-Avon to take in a play from the Royal Shakespeare Company, have a flutter at the races, or visit the many Shakespeare sights dotted around the city. There’s also excellent retail therapy to be had here, as well as in the elegant surrounding towns of Cheltenham, Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick. 
Sporty types will find golf courses, swimming pools and many other facilities nearby, and of course there are plenty of good walking opportunities along the river and out into the lovely Warwickshire countryside. Further along the banks of the Avon are the stately country house of Charlecote Park, and winsome Warwick Castle, which has plenty of things to do and see for all ages. Also nearby are the majestic ruins of Kenilworth Castle, where Robert Dudley and Elizabeth I used to make out; or you could follow in the footsteps of the Gunpowder Plotters of 1605 with a visit to Coughton Court. At the Ragley Hall Estate, visitors can take a tour of the Palladian mansion, go sculpture spotting in the Capability Brown parkland, or lose themselves in the 3D maze. The site is also a great base from which to explore the villages and landscapes of the Cotswolds.
