What customers say
Great spot near water sports and Notts. Pitches are spacious, clean, staff friendly. Kids love the play area. Some loo blocks need a spruce-up, shop stock is a bit thin, and sometimes it can get a bit noisy.

Liked Location for Nottingham is excellent. Pitch was new gravel and sizeable
Disliked No real improvement on the cleanliness of the toilets and showers. Really lets the site down. It’s been that way for years. The new “portable type” facilities are no better!!

Liked The location was great for a chilled break and super easy access to the city centre to pick up my daughter from university for the Christmas break.
Weather was not great for exploring but had a couple of nice walks so would go back again.
We stayed in a pod which was just right for what we needed, toasty warm and cosy.
Disliked The bed was wet by the window I presume leaked in with the rain but we made it work as arrived late, no more leaks for the rest of our stay.
Washroom facilities were not the cleanest, not cleaned in the 2 nights while I was there and no cleaning supplies available by the showers to clean yourself so glad we didn’t stay longer on this occasion.

Liked Location to city
Disliked Looked more like a travelers site than a touring site. Rubbish everywhere and bins overflowing. Ladies toilets dirty and need refurbishing.

Terrible caravan site
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Good location
Disliked Firstly kids shouting and running around at 4-00am and also litter and rubbish everywhere, toilets also old and out of date, and no one around to contact about it, I even tried calling the site to asked them about it and again no one answered, put immediately on to an automated answer service!! Absolutely disgusting service from them.

Poorly managed site with pitches occupied with travellers.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Great position on the outskirts of Nottingham with a bus stop right outside.
Disliked No management whatsoever. Shop closed, reception closed, toilets were dirty but at least there was toilet rolls in there.
Several pitches appeared to be occupied by travellers, rubbish strewn across the pitches and even washing machines left outside vans. People arguing loudly at midnight, just an unpleasant experience.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Site was tidy
Disliked Toilets and showers were dirty, run down and clearly not checked. The water wouldn't go down the plughole in the shower so I had to come out of the shower and stand in the public area to get my clothes on. Didn't use the facilities anymore as too grim

An unfortunate stay.

Liked It is a great location for Nottingham. It is surrounded by beautiful scenic walk.
Disliked This is my second time staying here and sadly it was well under par compared to my first stay. The cleanliness of the female toilet block wasn't great. A full bin with knickers and all sorts sat for a week. The toilets and showers weren't very clean. The shower usually had a back log of water once in the shower. However I do have to say the water was always very warm until there was a 3 day issue with the toilet block so off bounds. Lastly about the toilet block, the door and therefore safety key fob was not working. As a solo female traveller this was an added bonus to have so very disappointed that this was not working.
Unfortunately I had some noisy and disrespectful neighbours park right next to me for a week. There was lots of trash and stayed up till 3.00am one night. I am aware they were asked to move on eventually but I dreaded coming back after work to see any more dog foul in front of my caravan or trash littered around.
I understand this may have been a difficult matter to handle but it adds to the lack of care and awareness of site managers.

Liked First time staying at Holme Pierrepont, 2 families with small children. Stayed over halloween weekend. Site is lovely and spacious, very good amenities. The residents that live there made the weekend special for the kids by putting on a lovely display. Would definitely return again
