Bar and restaurant available to make the holiday more relaxing.
All staff helpful and chatty.Disliked: No dislikes just a heads up that the water taps near the standard pitches don't fit any hose adaptors. Fill up at the motorhome station just past the bar..

Liked: The food in Poppies was really nice, the shower blokes & site was lovely & clean
Disliked: The club/bar wasn't open so no entertainment at night, Mini bus wasn't running, long walk to nearest bus stop, pub or shop, buses only run every hour in the week& next to none on Sunday, you could only walk in the direction of the bus stop as there is no foot path the other way & is on a busy dual carridgeway
It was disappointing for us to read that you hadn't found your stay here quite as you expected. However, in the description provided on the pitch up site clearly states "During low season (March to mid-May, and October, with the exception of Easter and bank holidays), the bar, restaurant and shop will only open when the customer demand is sufficient." Our own website says the same. Although in low season we had live entertainment in the bar over the May Day bank holiday weekend and our minibus had it's first outing of the season on Saturday 4th May running guests down to Brixham for the Pirate Festival. We are very open with everyone about our location and access around the area. If you are ever in the area again during a busier period we would welcome the opportunity to show you what a wonderful time you could have here.

Julie, We only segregate our glass from the general waste as all our general waste gets collected as one and is converted into renewable energy. Our provider is Suez Recycling Services and they have some great videos on their website showing how waste is treated and converted. Whilst this information is contained in our welcome booklet, perhaps we should make this information more readily available on site so that everyone can see we are doing our bit for the environment where we can. Thanks for highlighting this with us.

Disliked: If anything it’s a bit remote ….long walk to bus stop.
Thank you for writing our first review of the 2024 season and for giving us such good scores. If you return during the busy months we have our minibus operating which will be easier than walking to the public bus stop.
