Location.

Firstly, I would never return to this site, on arrival it says you need to sign in at the shop/reception. I went into the shop and asked the lady if I could register, there was no hello or welcome, all she said was 'name', not a very good welcome/customer service. Secondly, Facilities were not adequate (only 4 male and 4 female showers) for the amount of people on the campsite, every morning we had to wait in a queue for a shower and to wash up. The site itself was not managed very well, the grass was overgrown limiting the amount of places where you could pitch up, also the children's play park was full of rubbish, lost items of clothing and other children's bicycles. Lastly, it was clear that the owner/management don't not care, other camper where smoking, playing loud music until late and driving around the site very fast. I tried to report this but had no luck/response. Never again

The site was large and good for the kids to play away from the tent, toilet facilities close by

Can pick your own spot to pitch. No designated arrival and departure time. Staff friendly and helpful.

Facilities were clean, 6+ nice hot showers with good pressure. Beautiful surroundings.
Host was really friendly and welcoming, around in the day to help and keep camp clean

It is very hilly, would suggest camping in the second field if there's no room at the top by the facilities. Don't camp by the park, kids are up til 11pm screaming - noisy hours and amplified music rules were ignored which is great if you're with a group of friends, but we struggled getting our 4yo to sleep.
Do not use the charging lockers, multiple campers had their items stolen even with padlocks on them.
Need to be comfortable driving the lanes to access!

Very friendly and helpful owner, made us felt very welcome. Beautiful surroundings and good facilities. Fire pit to rent for free and wood logs available to purchase on the site. Very peaceful area with lots place to play for the kids. Would definitely recommend it to my friends 🙏

Pitches on a slope .Tractors travelling through campsite till 3am. Kids screaming till very late. People having a domestic in next tent till 4am.
