Trish and Alan are the heart and soul of this campsite , they try there best to cater for anything you need , we come back every year without fail from Sheffield and we enjoy it every time !! It's the loveliest place to stay with the family for some quality time! We won't be changing camp any time soon! That's for sure !

I really appriciated the Freedom laid back approach to camping / running the site some places you just feel so up tight and watched or monitored this is a really friendly site where you can just chill super child friendly

Okay the ground is aliitle uneaven. I was there on an exceptionally busy weekend as stated by staff the showers were alittle cool but there electric and theres alot of people and reception informed me what more can they do so no real problems

Great location for families and not at all expensive.
We came here for a week and enjoyed most of the days here.
Good for campfires and BBQ.
Although it was busy we had a good time.
Enjoyed going to see the chickens.
Great toilet and shower blocks.
Nice little shop which has all the information for the surrounding beach's.

Must enforce a night time policy from 10pm. While we were there a group was playing loud music every night until around midnight.
Uncontrollable children running around our tent at night shouting and swearing.
The park was just a swing and a slide.
Not much todo on the campsite if you wanted to stay there for the day.
Terrible roads getting to the campsite.

The campsite is so laid back and helpful- that was the second year in a row that we’ve all booked and it was just as good as last year!

Great campsite, friendly staff and a great cup of coffee from the reception, with beautiful views, facilities good and only about 15 minutes from beach.

- Very flexible check in and out times.
- Beautiful, countryside views.
- Clean and well maintained toilet block and washing up area (a tricky job with the amount of dry grass being traipsed in there all day long),
- Small, onsite shop for drinks and snacks.
- Small play area for children.
- Choice of pitch (all non electric FYI).
- 15 minutes from Babbacombe/Oddicombe beaches.

- Not much flat ground to work with. Luckily, we have a camper van, so we were able to use levelling blocks to get closer to flat, but you’d need to be ok with the high probability of a sloped pitch if you were camping in a tent.
- Occasional whiffs of cow from the barn next to the camping field. Depends on which way the wind is blowing (which is obviously not under the staffs control).

Warm friendly family run campsite quiet and beautiful views inland. Not far from the sea

Beautiful place. Some stunning beaches with lovely views. So many things to do for families. Lovely walks.
Has everything you need on site. Friendly and accommodating owners.
My kids had fun on site as there is a small childrens play area.
Definitely will return.
