We have just returned from a fabulous 4 nights at Hendre Orchard. The site was beautiful and quiet with all the facilities we could have hoped for. The toilets and showers were cleaned regularly and were spotless throughout the duration of our stay. The fridge and freezer were useful to keep our ice creams cold and the addition of a hairdryer and other little touches just made the whole experience really easy and carefree. We only left the site a couple of times to go for a walk and to visit Raglan Castle as the children were so happy playing football and frisbee with other friends that they met during our stay, and us adults were enjoying the weather, birdsong and a bit of peace and quiet (no signal which suited us perfectly!) We would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely back.

All communal areas very clean. Amazing, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We have enjoyed our stay a lot.

Quiet beautiful surroundings. As backpackers on the Offa's Dyke path we appreciated the microwave and fridge. Nice shower soft ground to sleep on.

Just loved this site, Amazing pitches, views and top notch facilities, lovely managers who are friendly and accommodating. Washrooms are clean and maintained, even an American FF to keep your wine chilled and groceries cool, Not too busy and level pitches. The added bonus of the food/burger van on site was very welcome and served sumptuous bacon and sausage butties all day long. Fire pits are free of charge and a small fee for a bag of wood, We will most definitely be back ASAP, thank you

Lovely site, well tended and very picturesque. The owner greeted us and set us up, helped us with a firepit and everything. Had a lovely dinner cooked in the fire, and such a relaxed evening. Thank you very much!

We loved our stay at the campsite. The staff were so helpful and we had all the amenities we needed. We also thoroughly recommend the wild boar burger that they had available!

What a great site, lovely location with very clean facilities - showers, toilets etc. They also have a fridge to keep your stuff chilled if needed also with kettle, toaster and microwave. They even have an ice machine.
Staff very good and a special mention to the staff running the food stall which is open various times for hot and cold items, they even opened early for me as I had an early start - fantastic. Will be back again.

Cleanliness, friendliness of hosts and tranquility

The campsite is quiet, calm and pretty. The facilities are excellent - the cleanest campsite I've seen, and the provided microwave and kettle were super useful as I cycled to the campsite so I didn't need to bring a stove!

The little cafe cabin is a lovely addition. The two running it are really friendly and the breakfast bap was really good. I normally avoid that kind of thing as they are often sub-par but these guys use quality ingredients and it shows.

The sunset was beautiful and you can see far across the landscape.

It's a very rainy May, so what do you expect, but the pitches left over when I arrived late were pretty boggy in places. Nothing too major, and it wipes off the tent easily and didn't cause me any real problems.
