Lovely spot, really well equipped for a relatively small campsite - kettle, fridge freezer, microwave, even a small trailer with breakfast options, burgers, buns, snacks and the like, run by two very friendly people.

Really impressed with how clean the facilities were kept - loos, showers and kitchens. They seemed to be being cleaned almost as much as they were used!

Really handy to have an electric hook-up, as the majority of pitches seemed to have. Also, our generously sized pitch (again, like most if not, all!), was very level, which obviously helps no end when pitching a tent.

Amazing facilities, clean and tidy. Being able to buy burgers, milkshakes and other stuff was a proper treat.

Excellent, clean facilities. Relaxed but well observed rules. First time camping with our 5 month baby, by 9pm noise was to a minimum and we will definitely be back.

Those without electric camping by electric posts around the outside, made it hard to find a space to reach.

Great campsite with good, clean facilities. The site was very peaceful!

Beautiful peaceful location. Family friendly. Loved the wildlife and the camp cat Lily. Great facilities. Plenty of spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Lots of hot running water powered by solar power. Loved it.

Clean facilities, friendly staff and beautiful location.
They have a great little hut that sells breakfast and burgers if needed. They also sell wood at £5 a bag which is much cheaper than the local shop so you don’t need to take any(there’s signs saying please some use you’re own and for that price, it’s great!)

We had a fantastic stay at Hendre with our friends camping on the pitch next door. The facilities were great & kept very clean. We hadn't realised there was a fridge & freezer available onsite so had brought our own fridge. The children in our party made use of the playground & also the football net. We enjoyed a walk from the campsite, stopping off at a lovely church which offered drinks & a toilet en route. We will definitely look to book here again.
