We had a warm welcome. The site is beautiful and very clean. We will definitely visit again. Just me & my 3 year old, the play area was great, a nice safe environment. The onsite cafe was fantastic, the cheeseburgers were delicious.

Pretty location, helpful staff, clean and useful facilities (fab recycling facilities and communal toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer), right on Offa's Dyke path.

There was a mobile cafe on site selling hot drinks and burgers in the evening until 7:30 and breakfasts in the morning.

There is only one shower available and 2 toilets. The facilities are all within a converted shed rather than a brick built building. The approach is via very skinny lanes. Our pitch was not level. The charge for EHU was £15 for one night. The other sites we stayed at on our trip EHU ranged from an additional £5-£8. I had no phone reception on the site.

Lovely location and view, great facilities - never been to a campsite with kitchen appliances, it really was handy. Only one shower but it was a good one. Clean, not overcrowded, level ground spots for tent pitches. Nearby to nice local towns with shops and restaurants. Not a far drive to Forest of Dean and other points of interest. The only thing I will mention is that when I put the postcode and address into my maps it initially took me to an industrial estate 25 minutes away from the actual campsite, so would advise that you put in Old Hendre Farm B&B if you’re finding it through iPhone maps. I had decent signal but I don’t think there is any WiFi - also not a problem for us anyway.

Really friendly and welcoming and great facilities. Plenty of privacy along the back pitches and great views. Memorable weekend would definitely come back.

Very friendly staff, beautiful view. Great getaway if you want to disappear from the radar, poor or no phone signal, which is exactly what we needed.
