Liked: Facilities are very clean and well maintained and reception staff are friendly and helpful. Pitches are well sized with good turn for tents.
Disliked: Dogs not allowed in reception or any other buildings but they’re charged at the same rate as other sites where they are welcomed.

Disliked: Unfortunately my pitch was the farthest away from the facilities that it could be, as an elderly man I needed to be much closer, if you get my drift, apart from that nice site

Liked: Fabulous campsite! Clean, friendly owners, big pitch clearly marked, lovely facilities and a wonderful breakfast bap! A fab place to enjoy the Forest of Dean! (Also the ability to arrive late was greatly appreciated)

Liked: Very well maintained site. Recycling bins inc food recycling which is great. Even though no one there to meet us , clearly marked on Reception door where our pitch was. Very quiet site , spotless amenities, will definitely visit again.
Disliked: Our pitch was nr the bins/recycling bins, we were only there one night but potentially noisy/a bit annoying for someone staying a while, bins might be better being near the washing up area away from the pitches but otherwise everything was great.

Liked: Great location, beautiful and quiet. Very clean toilet/ shower block. Owners were really nice and friendly.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike other than the motion sensor lights in the shower go off too soon (especially for those showering at night)

Liked: great site we have stayed here before and we love it . nice walk into town down a
footpath from the end of the camping field , lovely clean showers and toilets , great washing up area , fire pits to hire and buy wood and even do a take away service for tea from the shop. we drove to forest of dean to cycle as well .Disliked: nothing not to like

Dogs really are welcome onsite and am I sorry to hear that you did not get that feeling.
We have many dog walks from site and have put in a gate to bypass stiles to make it easier for less able bodied people and dogs to gain access to these walks. We provide bog water bowls and truly are genuine dog lovers. However, we do not allow dogs in reception as it is also our shop/takeaway and space is limited so for hygiene purposes we do request that our furry and often muddy friends are left outside. I have to be honest, I cannot see this changing but pets are certainly very welcome.
