Liked: Its a great site, very minimalistic which is a plus when you want to getaway from distractions. Right at the base of the Black Mountains, so a great base for hill walking. Love this place!

Liked: Absolutely beautiful location, lots of wildlife, very friendly manager and staff, could not have asked for much better tbh. We rented a bell tent and they provided air beds, a plethora of rugs and cushions so felt very comfortable throughout our stay, they we also very dog friendly allowing us to camp with our 4 dogs. As for activities you could walk all day long sight seeing/hiking or choose to relax in the local pubs which are only 10 minutes walking distance away. We shall definitely be returning 10/10
Disliked: No dislikes. If I had to think of something perhaps another portaloo on the other side of the campsite would be nice, maybe some more bins around the place too. As you grow a shower would be ideal for longer stays or even a rustic washing up area for dishes. Without these things I still had a 10/10 stay as they're not essential, and the guys there really care about their campers.

Liked: Stunning setting, absolutely beautiful. Central fire pit and the twinkling fairy lights. Fresh water from the Brook. Peaceful, lots of space. The owner was fun and laid back. Can we keep it a secret it’s perfect!!

Liked: The attractive location and ambience of the site. Friendly site manager. Lots of space. very flat field.
Disliked: Only one portable toilet for the whole site! No showers. No disposal for chemical waste. Very expensive considering the lack of facilities.

Thank you both for your kind words , in answer to your comment re ‘ no showers ‘ it actually does state this immensely clearly on pitchup & our other booking platforms and so we find it a real shame you did not read this ( of which is very well stated ) we are very proud and to say we have won best pitchup award not once but 2 years in a row to which speaks for itself . I am saddened to hear that you did not research our site on whichever platform you booked to find all this very clear information.
