We love the sound of a brook, the silence, and seeing the beautiful mountain. We arrive in Wales with a longer, adventurous walk over the mountain. We have been back for the third year, my children love the swings over the brook and the mountain trips, the garden belonging to the house, the barbecue. The beds very comfortable and love the soft blankets. They feel at home there, they said they want to live there. They are always very sad when we have to leave the place. And John is very friendly and available immediately if we need anything.

    Disliked:

Some spider and spider's web in caravan, but that's just our dislike. We know they are part of nature there.

This place is truly stunning and made all the more special being the only people here! Just stayed one night unfortunately and I don’t think we would hit that lucky again! This truly is a retreat! For those who like fancy facilities it’s not for you but if you want spectacular scenery, great walks and tranquility then it’s perfect. Also very dog friendly, the host is super friendly too.

A beautifully kept site. It was very quiet and exactly what we were looking for. The views are spectacular of this hills. Great walks. Local pub and shop 15 min walk.. lovely.

    Disliked:

Little to dislike. The site is a wild camping site. No facilities other than portaloos. Which is stated before you book. So no surprises for us. It is what it is.

Lovely site. Very peaceful. Jon was very helpful. Nice to be without power for weekend, which may not be for some but means you do get a more laid back, quiet vibe. Pub 10mins walk was decent and village shop was brill( again 10min walk)

    Disliked:

Not really a dislike but not a huge amount to do but if you want a chilled few days then it is perfect.

The beautiful bell tent, which was decorated nicely and had so much space. Great location, noice village with pub and shop. Easy to find and helpful instructions to check-in.

    Disliked:

I was walking Offa’s Dyke path with my dog, and the footpath access through the local farmers fields was not easy. Also group camping nearby with a large and noisy bonfire.
