The narrow road

The site was absolutely immaculate, from the extremely well kept lawns to the toilets. John was a fantastic host, he is so friendly and helpful and puts so much effort and thought into the site - we loved all of the solar lights!
The site is surrounded by the most beautiful views and is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We loved that the site allowed dogs and that they didn’t have to be kept on leads.
We will definitely be returning!

What a delightful, beautiful retreat! John the owner was charming and attentive, the pitch spacious (Mountain View) and the local shop is great. We had a wonderful stay for two nights and would definitely return. Thank you for letting us share this little bit of paradise!

Not a dislike but visitors should know there are no showers. Wet wipes/inventive washing and local cider (internal use only) instead!

We stayed in the one of the deluxe Bell tents. It was absolutely beautiful! The scenery was beautiful. The camp was well kept and tidy. John was a pleasure to meet. I have already booked to go back!

Location location location! What an amazing place just below Offa’s Dyke path! The Olchon valley is a place where you can get that much needed respite from the trouble of the world or the chores of daily life! Flat ground to camp in! Pegs that go in! A stream to wander and ponder by and this weekend blue blue skies!
Wonderful host too and a central fire pit for evening gatherings. It’s just beautiful!
No showers= no nasty runoff into local protected watercourse. Head under the tap on a hot day recommended! Keep it quiet keep it wild keep it lovely.

The location is superb, beautiful mountain views and the stream with swings. Having pub and shop in walking distance is also a big plus. The site is beautifully kept, immaculate grass and plants, and magical lighting in the evenings. The caravan was very well equipped for our extended family group, with plenty of tables and chairs for outdoor living. John was also really friendly and helpful.

The portaloos are not ideal but we managed to avoid them mostly as we had the caravan.

Lovely well kept site with many pitching options, good basic facilities, in idyllic countryside near to a fine pub and shop. John very welcoming and helpful. Great for short stays - showers would be needed for longer stays.

The owners were very friendly and the pitch was really nice grass and was level, ground was easy to put pegs in.

Incredible campsite. John was really accommodating. Super friendly and chilled place to stay. Wild camping with the convenience of a clean toilet. Will definitely be back!
