Liked Good communication via WhatsApp. Basic campsite but with everything you need, although I didn’t try the one shower available. The communal Saloon looked great but sadly there was nothing on during our stay.

Disliked The site could do with some TLC. It has lots of potential but sadly a lot of the areas cannot be used as they are so overgrown and neglected.

Liked Really lovely campsite. The views alone are worth the stay. Very very clean and the site offers everything you could need during your stay. My son loved the swing across the river/stream so much he has insisted we return. Within walking distance of Bolton Abbey which is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Billy Bobs diner is a must visit if you have young kids.

Disliked Our pitch was on a hill which meant we were constantly trying to level up our equipment but that wasn’t enough of an issue to spoil the holiday. No Wi-Fi that we were advised about hence I only gave one star for that, but we don’t expect Wi-Fi on a camp site in any event.

Liked Really friendly staff (one even helped me pitch my tent) and very very clean facilities. Lovely showers. My son loved the play area as well.

Disliked Not sure if there was Wi-Fi. If there was it wasn’t advertised that I could see. Then again I didn’t ask so my bad.
