The veiws were amazing from the camp

Jul 2026

Liked Nice flat ground but site was very small and looked nothing like its pictures on the site. Like the Alpacas and the hoards of geese. Cafe great the full English Breakfast was brilliant and a bargain at £7.50

Disliked The very steep hill to the reception and the toilets and shower ans when you are disabled this is not the sort of thing one can cope with. No toilets on the camp ground and only 1 water tap. No where to empty chemical toilet outside

From the manager: Thank you for your comments but not sure why the site looks any different to the pictures apart from the trees and hedges which have grown somewhat since the images were taken. We make no secret that we have a hill to contend with between the campsite and the facilities building and as soon as we have on-grid electric (we are off grid) then we will be able to install toilets on the camping field. Furthermore, we do have chemical and grey water waste points - just ask! Thanks

What a Jewel, Pristine and Idilic , Proper Countryside

Jun 2015

Liked This was my first time at Little Ropers Farm, What a Find ! I went with my 39 Year old son and my 19 year old daughter , we went from Thurday 4th June to Sunday 7th June. - I was absolutely Gob Smacked at the beautiful , little area hidden in the Suffok countryside. If you like camping in a wooded area where can use your Backswoodman Skills, cooking over an open fire, Wild Camping, this beautiful place certainly Hits the Spot - Wow I didn't think this sort of place still existed. The owners Mr & Mrs Mead were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, You park your car at the farm and if you have a little bit of kit you can use the wheelbarrows provided, but if you are like us and took a lot of gear there is a ATV with a trailer you load up and drive your own kit to the wood or field which is about. 10 min walk if your slow like me, where no vehicles are allowed, very refreshing. I liked everything about this long weekend, the toilet was right there in one side of the block and the washing up area the other end, only cold water though which was so soft. There is a Shop in a Box, where you can buy fresh free range eggs, jams of every flavour, matches, and your trusted to put the money in the jar in the box, where else can you find that sort of trust. The best thing was the only Rules was respect the countryside and respect the other campers. What a Cracking little Jem
