Disliked: It was a wet couple of nights. The grass was too wet for our van so we had to abandon our stay. I emailed the owners, but got no reply.

Liked: Amazing camp staff member Ste! Constantly check facilities and offering help and support to inexperienced campers. Never seemed to be off duty. Very friendly and helpful. A real asset to the campsite

Beautiful views.Disliked: Lack of shower and toilet facilities - there only seemed to be one shower to serve the whole site. Facilities there were basic but fine.

It was easy to find and the views were fantastic.
When we arrived we were greeted by Steve who was helpful and friendly all weekend - he really couldn't do enough to help us and other campers/caravanners. The location of the site means that it is easy to travel around the Peak District.
One added bonus of this site is that we had our own water tap.
We will definitely be returning!Disliked: I can't give a rating of 5 for the faciliities as we didn't use them.
We loved our stay here! Steve was also the best he was really helpful

Liked: Nice, small and quiet campsite. The owner was very helpful when we arrived and offered to help us set up, we also got to choose where we pitched up. Lots of animals in surrounding fields.
Disliked: The number given via text to call on arrival didn’t work. Only 1 shower. No door on one of the toilets.

The toilet with no door on is actually the waste disposal for caravans. I will put a sign up to stop confusion. 😀

Liked: Great location in the middle of rolling Peak-District hills. Simple plot but everything you need. Really accommodating owner who texted us beforehand & was there on the phone when we needed (he came out straight away to help us get out of some mud we got stuck in!) Lovely quiet place for a stay for a few nights. Very easy to get to Buxton, Bakewell & all other Peak District places.

Unfortunately we can not control the weather and with booking a grass pitch it is inevitable that when the weather rains the grass gets wet. This is something that is out our control.
There was a number on the text on which you received which when I spoke to you on the campsite I did say ring if there was a problem.
We never received a email!
