Liked: I had a wonderful stay at Fronalchen Caravan Park! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—nothing was too much trouble for them, which really made a difference. The whole site had a warm, relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
The location is fantastic, especially if you’re into aviation—it’s not far from the Mach Loop, so we were lucky enough to catch some amazing low-flying aircraft during our stay. It’s also just a short drive to the coast, which made day trips to the sea super easy and enjoyable.
Overall, it’s a lovely, peaceful campsite with everything you need. Great staff, great location, and a genuinely friendly vibe throughout. I will definitely be back!

Disliked: Only one tiny sink in toilets. Two out of three locks on women's toilet doors not working. Washing up water runs out of sink onto ground and splashes. No warm water for washing up. Expensive for poor facilities.

Liked: Warm welcome onto the site with clear instructions of where to camp and where the facilities are. Beautiful location with plenty space.
Disliked: The generator was noisy, but they were having issues with it and worked very quickly to try and get them resolved.

Disliked: Payed for electricity and generator kept tripping out . Another generator was put in place Saturday teatime but it still did not work at our connection point .
Lack of contact on site to resolve issues.
Thank you for your feedback. The generator was in working order when you arrived on Friday - unfortunately your motorhome kept tripping the electricity (which was no fault of the generator as other connecting points were working fine)....
However, we apologie for the issue we had with generator on Saturday afternoon as the fuel pump decided to stop working. Thankfully an engineer was able to come out straight away and arrange a replacement generator within a couple of hours and everybody were back up and running by late afternoon - hopefully this won't be happen again.

Disliked: I have stayed in many different types of campsite and did understand this was a back to basics site, unfortunately there is back to basics and there is very dirty toilets with bins overflowing with rubbish.
Toilets hadn't been cleaned in a long time, dirty pot wash area with just cold water to wash your dishes with.There was no plumbing and water just run out onto the floor below.
Bins had been emptied 2 days previous by Veolia so this is factually uncorrect, toilets are cleaned daily and every couple of hours at peak times, We know the toilets are not flash but as you must of seen a new building is up and in the proccess of been kitted out - Thats a new toilet block - Thanks
