Liked: Decent bathroom, good shower. Had a nice little river running nearby.
Disliked: The water from the sink from washing dishes runs to nowhere and ends up at your feet.

Liked: Beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains and green fields. Quiet, unspoiled.
Disliked: Toilets and washing up facilities need vastly upgrading which looks like is the process. No signage from road, unlike other campsites in the area. Not enough water taps.

Disliked: Very basic amenities. Toilets filthy. Gents toilet had no door so urinals on view. We did not realise a big selling point for the site was hiring out old car wheels and selling logs. We had no sleep for two nights as our motor home was full of wood smoke because people camped close and then lit fires. It would be better if there could be separate areas for people who want fires and those who don’t.

Liked: Stunning views. Easy to find. Great showers. Lovely river on the edge of the site for a dip or a paddle.
Disliked: 2 out of 3 toilets available for the whole site. Toilets were awful. Leak on the floor in one, no lid on one of the bins and a sanitary product on show. Unused soap dispenser and hand towel dispenser filthy.

Liked: The location was excellent. The site peaceful and clear upgrades were being made. Excellent value for the price per night.
Disliked: The generator was quite loud. After a while I tuned it out but it still detracted from the overall peaceful site.
Thanks for your feedback. Our facilities are in the process of being improved and will be up and running by next season if eveything goes to plan.
There's plenty of space for pitches and the firewood we supply are bone-dry so they burn cleanly to avoid dirty smoke. Unfortunately, some guests collect damp branches from the riverside etc. to burn, and we are unable to police this 24/7. We allow guests to have campfire as it's a very popular campling activity and all part of the experieince.
