Liked: Nicely greeted at reception on arrival. All facilities nice and clean. Felt safe as a female travelling alone.
Disliked: The one night I stayed was farming night, so combine harvester going till 10 at night. Wasn't as peaceful as I wanted but hey ho. Still enjoyable.

Liked: Location, south of the north York moors, visited Castle Howard and Nunnington Hall during stay. Site was clean and staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Liked: What a gem of a place. Beautful surroundings/ scenery overlooked the lake. Such good price. Immaculately clean toliets and shower facilities. Lovely welcome upon arrival. Great price.

Liked: Booked 2 pitches for motor home and tent with electric hookup as a family, wonderfully helpful member of staff arranged for our family to be together on two hard standing pitches next to one another , made our stay so much better,thank you

Freedom to chose where to pitch up
In one of two fields. Excellent facilities and a little extra, a fish and chip van and onsite breakfast bar. So good for tenters
The whole site was clean and tidy. Obviously the weather affected conditions on the ground .
