Liked: Large hard standing site. Electric hook up right next to pitch. Campsite was very clean and tidy with great walk around the lake with views of Castle Howard. The owners gave me a courtesy call before we arrived so that we knew where we were going and what to do when we got there. Great value site with 5 minute drive to Castle Howard for a great day out.

Liked: The space available during the week for the children to play.
The dedicated spaces for don walking and children to play during the busy weekend.
The friendly nature of the staff and fellow campers.
The extra toilet facillities made available to cope with the volume of people.

Liked: Pitch was very spacious and you had free choice of where you could pitch up. Lovely view of the fields and short walk to the lake. Clean facilities all in working order. Extremely clean site no rubbish anywhere.

Disliked: Very strong smell of dog muck as we pitched up near the woods. Noisy road .
Hardly any soap in the toilets.

Liked: The location is brilliant with two massive fields so there is plenty choice to pitch up! The lake has a lovely walk. The lady on reception was super friendly and helpful :) Shower and toilet blocks were clean.
Disliked: The shower blocks could be a bit of walk if you pitch in the second field.
