Liked: The grounds were beautiful, toilets and shower blocks were clean, heated well and water was hot. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Forestry walk around the camp was stunning and very educational for the children with all the animal tracks.
Disliked: I collected a full bag of rubbish from the forest walk, but that's down to public, not park rangers. Was quite a few dogs wondering around off leads. Some cars were travelling too fast on the 5mph road. Adults on bikes going opposite way on one way road, wouldn't moan but they were traveling so fast and almost run my daughter over.

Liked: We love the location, right in the forest and the staff are really friendly on site.
Disliked: The facilities are so tired - we have been coming for 20 years and never known and sort of refurb! It is getting quite run down and would be great to see some investment in such a wonderful campsite!
Very waterlogged but not the campsites fault! Hilly capmpsite - just for those who don’t know.
For the price it’s a shame maintenance has not been done over winter.

Liked: Location is great with quick access to the Wye for great walking and cycling. The site has a great atmosphere in the evenings with lots of wild tent pitches dotted around.
Disliked: The site is very tired which is especially noticeable in the shower blocks which are rundown and not clean. Hard standing pitches are tiny but ours was very nice and flat.
Spacious forest site. Not too busy, even though it was the Easter.
