We stayed for the Easter Bank holiday and the Campsite was alive with campers giving a brilliant atmosphere.
The local forest has got some amazing walks and the pubs are only a 20 min walk along the river.

The Mobile network in the area was having problems and no WIFI on site.
As someone that works all the time, this was a difficult thing to navigate.

Adaptability, moved us to a hard standing pitch as so much rain. Peaceful, central for walking and mountain-biking in the Forest of Dean. Friendly, helpful staff.

The only one thing, advertised pizzas on Saturday night, but no explanation cash only. Ordered only to be told didn't take card. There is nothing else close by !

It was My First Camping Experience with Both Kids, 5 & 7 .

What a Lovely 3 days / 2 Nights

The Facilities were always clean and Respectively well Maintained

Staff were always happy to speak to and gave some great Knowledge of the area

Kids Loved the Treasure Hunt

Besides a Few Cob Webs, I dealt with the Spiders

There were Mice or Rats under the Cabin but thats nature for you

Not the Best Mobile Signal or Wifi but you Camping, shouldnt need to as you on Holidaying

Well located, staff very friendly and helpful. Walking trails and cycling directly from campsite.

Not many flat pitches if you haven’t paid for hardstanding. Toilet and shower facilities clean but tired.

Lack of speed humps to prevent cars speeding in campsite.

Ground was on a slope. Very expensive- £100 for 3 nights without electric! No park for children. No wifi

The staff are amazing and very friendly. Couldn’t do enough for us. And the campsite is just beautiful in the forest with stunning walks and places to visit.
