Beautiful scenery, perfect for walking and mountain biking. Toilets and showers are clean.

Onsite shop could be better, limited stock. Grass Pitches could be marked out better very hard to see where pitches are.

The location is sensational, situated within and not on the edge of the forest, you are surrounded by great views, peace and quiet, and immediate access to nature all around the campsite via lots of secured gates that lead straight into the forest. All the facilities were clean and respected by other campers, the men's showers in the main block were out but it's a 2min walk to the next block. The site has a slope, but that means you look over whoever is below you so you get the views, especially from the top point where I stayed. Having deer wander through late evening and night time was magical. Dog friendly and good dog owners meant I got to enjoy it with my dog who just loved the forest walks.

Nothing major to dislike at all, really nit picking would be to have a larger selection of flat tent pitches but this is nature.

We loved being in the forest and having deer roaming around the site was lovely to see.

The bathroom facilities need updating and the pitches looked a little unkempt.

Staff are brilliant, super friendly and helpful. the ability to get out into the forest and the walks are good and you can see the improvements being undertaken.

Same issue with out of order showers at the top block and these have been not working for nearly two years. The blocks are looking tired and could do with a lick of paint which I think you could do in the winter months. Hard pitches are so full of weeds you cannot see where the hard pitch is on some slots, a bit of weed killer would sort in out.

Very friendly welcome on arrival, given a site map and recommendations on the best pitch sites. Toilet block was very clean, all the amenities you could need. A group of a dozen deer also roamed the site when the sunset, it was that peaceful.

Great site for exploring the local area on foot. Walks straight from the site. Lovely views.

Great selection of pitches excellent site, great location ,shower blocks lovely & warm and the little book shelves of DVDs and books were lovely.
