A tranquil spot by the river with awesome mountain views and park walking access. Super clean facilities, friendly staff, and good, flat pitches. Basic shop/bar, but most want to come back.

Disliked Het feit dat groepen toegestaan zijn. Meestal was het rustig maar soms zat er een vrij luide groep.

Liked L’emplacement magnifique au dessus de la rivière et l’accueil très sympathique et puis discret ! Les facilités , machine à laver et surtout les sanitaires sont les douches propres et bien chaudes !

Liked Lovely tranquil terraced site. The sound of the river and the amazing mountains surrounding us made this wonderfully peaceful. The toilets etc were immaculate. Short walk into Espot, which has loads of restaurants and a taxi service up to the higher mountains. Would love to come back. Also, very good WiFi!

Excellent site with amazing views!

Liked We loved everything about this site. The pitches are shaded and generous, the views are outstanding and the toilet block is clean and modern. Lots of recycling available too (including compost) which we like.
The site was quiet - lots of groups of people there to walk, as well as families. The peace and quiet was a real win for us.
The light pollution is minimal and the stars are beautiful on a clear night and there are lots of walking trails nearby into the national park. You can walk direct from the site or get one of the official taxis up to Sant Maurici lake and start your walk from there. Trails are well marked and plentiful - lots on All Trails too.
Espot is a short (10 mins) walk downhill from the site and is a really pretty town with good shops and places to eat if you don’t want to cook.
There is chemical waste disposal available - you just have to ask at reception.
We will definitely be returning!
