Wild swimming, watersports and all things adventure are the real deal at this holiday spot… you see, when you put down roots at Motorhome Space, you certainly won’t be tied down to one spot, as the towering Solkan Bridge is just one kilometre away and 20 minutes’ walk away, the Soča river below will quite easily whisk you away by boat, kayak or canoe (whichever vehicle you decide to put your faith in). With the iconic arch bridge so close by, the whole family (including dogs) will have a safe and easy place to rest up. But while you prop your feet up in your motorhome, campervan or caravan, you’ll want to decide what to get stuck into first. Perhaps a cycle along the Soča Bike Path, a traffic-free asphalted route from Solkan to Plave, where riverside scenery passes by in a flurry? Kayaking or canoeing along the river? A spot of wild swimming… or fly fishing perhaps? The river has zipwires, bungee jumping, climbing and whitewater rafting too, all within a short drive or walk of the site. It’s not just the water you’ll get to indulge in, though. The site’s surrounded by Solkan’s’ bars, restaurants and cafés. There are all sorts within walking distance, so you can afford to be a little choosy… and of course, cultural detours and shopping are alternative activities here too.

Liked Gute Abstellmöglichkeit, unser Wohnwagen stand 1 Woche ohne uns komplett überdacht und sicher, Besitzer wohnt auf dem Grundstück.
Achtung es ist kein Campingplatz, lediglich nur Abstellmöglichkeit für Womo/Wowa/ Boote.

Liked It was cheap. Apart from that there was nothing to like.
This isn't a campsite. It's a large back yard of a house which is used for people to park motorhomes on. There are no toilets, shower, water or anything else. Maybe that's ok if you have a motorhome that provides all of this but it's useless if you're in a tent.
It's not in a nice location. It's a mix of domestic housing and commercial units.
The areas 'suitable' for tents are overgrown parts of the garden surrounded by heaps of rubbish.
I hope the owner feels guilty about pretending this is suitable for camping. He is a disgrace

Local attractions

Solkan Bridge (20 minutes' walk) is the world’s longest stone arch railway bridge, but it’s not all about how impressive the sight is. Zipwires, laser tag and treetop trails make up Soča Fun Park (five minutes) by the river and for those of you who are feeling particularly adventurous, TOP Extreme Bungee Jumping (20 minutes) will let you take off right from the bridge – that’s 55 metres high in the sky, by the way. In Solkan itself, top spots include the Piazzale della Transalpina (five minutes’ drive), a square alongside the railway line and Vila Bartolomei (five minutes), a countryside mansion with exhibitions. But further away, you'll land on some scenic slopes, including the mountain hikes at Sabotin (25 minutes) or Sveta Gora (10 minutes), where there are mountain biking trails to introduce some more action or the basilica for some peaceful meditation. Miramare Castle (45 minutes) might be the furthest away, but this 19th-century castle is well worth the trip. On the Gulf of Trieste, the coastal castle looks impressive and the inside delivers too, thanks to the museum and legendary curse behind the place.
