Liked The peacefulness of the site and not over crowded (we didn’t find the planes a problem) , the facilities for the kids were amazing and better than we expected. The size of the site was nice to walk to toilets and pool etc.
Had a lovely breakfast.
Staff are really helpful and friendly and it’s a good base to travel to places like lake Garda / Venice.
Would definitely come back.

Local attractions

Cities first: Verona (half an hour’s drive) is likely to be a name you know. Pegged as ‘little Rome’ and famed as the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the Roman city has lots going for it, and most of all, its medieval old town and amphitheatre. Mantua (35 minutes), surrounded by lakes and filled with popular architecture like the Chamber of the Giants, is another city for your bucket list. Trento (an hour and 10 minutes), with its castle, cathedral, Renaissance buildings and museum, is just as splendid. Villages next: just because they are small doesn’t mean they’re not mighty interesting. Valeggio sul Mincio (10 minutes) has a hilltop castle and Borghetto (15 minutes) has ancient mills. If you’re after a peaceful style of afternoon, the large park, lawns, ponds, lakes, maze and 400-year-old oak tree at Parco Giardino Sigurtà (20 minutes) will be a very fine idea. For a thrill, though, Gardaland Resort (20 minutes) has plenty of those in the form of rollercoasters and rides.
