Getting here is straightforward, as the pitches are in the grounds of a guest house with easy, level parking and are just a five-minute drive from exit 7.1 on the A83. Aux 4 Cornes may be in a quiet part of the countryside, but it’s by no means cut off from civilisation, with the town of Fontenay-le-Comte being a five-minute drive away. That places a large supermarket, smaller shops, restaurants, cafés, a theatre, Renaissance architecture and Parc Baron’s shaded picnic areas right within striking distance. At the same time, the site is around two kilometres from the Vendée River, where morning and evening strolls and cycles are ultra scenic. Those who are lucky enough to be taking their holiday in July and August can also look forward to taking a dip in the on-site outdoor swimming pool (check the opening times at reception before you get fully changed into your swimwear and goggles).

We are a parking area for camper vans but we are not a campsite with the activities that they may possibly offer, and we do not have this vocation. This is indeed stated in our advertisement.

We are sorry that you were bothered by the noise from the road because we are in the countryside 2.5 km from the town of Fontenay Le Comte. Perhaps it would have been better to park your camper van further back from the access road to the large dedicated grassy area, this might have prevented the two or three cars that could pass by from disturbing you.

Regarding the wifi signal, we have planned to install a terminal but the creation of our area is brand new, and this will be in place very soon.
