Liked The area is beautiful full of hills and woodland and we passed a massive lake not far away from the site that if we had had more time we would have visited.

Disliked Only stayed 1 night. We arrived late due to a road closure and heavy traffic. The welcome was more like we were an inconvenience. The pitch was on a slope so kept sliding down in the night so didn't sleep well. They had no toilet seats in the toilet or soap to wash your hands afterwards. In the only wash block I saw ( There might have been others) they had only 2 toilets one male and one female.

We are deeply sorry to have given you the impression that your arrival was an inconvenience. We were surprised of your late arrival in the night without any notice beforehand. We would have been more than happy to exchange further with you, but unfortunately, you did not come to the reception to check out before leaving.
Regarding your concern about sanitary facilities, we understand that, in the night, you were not able to notice that the campsite has actually three facilities for our campers' comfort.

Liked Sehr ruhig, großzügige Stellplätze, teils mit Hecken getrennt, mehrere Sanitärblocks, ausreichend WC, Duschen und Waschbecken, tolle Lage, Wanderungen zu Wasserfällen direkt vom Platz aus, sehr freundliche Betreiber.

Liked Very pleasant people running this park. Arrived after 7pm office close but was let in without delay after ringing number on door & took advantage of delicious pizza in camp bar. Some electric hook ups need double hose for water top up from nearby tap. Amenities & dish wash excellent

When you’re not out exploring all those waterfalls, you may like to slow things down a bit with a game at Golf de Saint-Claude (five minutes’ drive) or a swim at Lac de Lamoura (20 minutes). Meanwhile, there are all sorts of woodland games, canopy trails and horse riding at Gaïa Loisirs (20 minutes). For an easy mini outing, head into Saint-Claude (five minutes) to visit the Musée de la Pipe et du Diamant, Musée de l’Abbaye and Le Monde des Automates, or visit L'Atelier des savoir-faire (20 minutes) to see traditional crafts in action. Bigger outings?
