Liked Very friendly welcom, Calm camping and near by the lake for swiming or just read books on the beach. Lot of track around to ride bycicle or run in the countryside
Easy to order quick diner at the snack and a fresh beer.

Disliked Maybe the sanitary facility for men is undersized.

Liked La tranquillité, l'emplacement arboré, un camping avec peu d'emplacements. L'endroit et le prix

Disliked Allez peut-être l'eau des douches pas forcément très chaude mais bon. Et un sanitaire un peu vétuste.

Le Jardin powered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked We loved the fact that the campsite had lots of trees to provide some shade. The campsite is family size - not too big - and is right next to a big lake we can swim in and go fishing on. Our children loved the camping ground and enjoyed making new friends.

Disliked My husband thought there aren’t enough toilets. However, they were clean !

Emplacement spacieux, toilettes et sanitaires impeccables.
Petite épicerie appréciable et le petit snack du soir très sympa (le burger est une tuerie).
La proximité du lac est un excellent point et activité nautique sur place.

Powered grass caravan site

Liked The campsite is located in an idyllic spot next to the lake, that has a man made beach with safe swimming. Theres also a nice lakeside restaurant and water sports for hire. You can order fresh bread for deliver the next morning. It's all in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees so many pitches are shaded. The owners are lovely and helpful and there's always someone on site. Toilets and showers are cleaned regularly. It really is a lovely site

Liked Nous avons apprécié la taille de notre emplacement avec une partie au soleil et une autre à l'ombre
Les gérants sont agréables, accessibles et la congélation des packs de glace est gratuite.
Les sanitaires et les douches sont propres et nettoyés régulièrement. Le seul reproche c'est qu'il n'y en a pas beaucoup.

Lac du Drennec covers 110 hectares so is a stellar spot for watersports, lakeside walks and wildlife spotting; it's a famed brown and rainbow trout fishing lake too, with about 8,000 rainbow trout of up to 2kg added to the waters each year. Also close by, nearby riding stable can arrange hacks out into the countryside and natural park surrounds around the lake. For hiking further afield, Belinda and Andrew recommend wanders around the Monts d'Arrée mountain range: a top pick to hike up to is Saint-Michel Chapel on Mont Saint-Michel de Brasparts, accessible from Saint-Rivoal 10 minutes' drive away. The spectacular views from here include the Brittany peat bogs, the lake at Brennilis and countryside all the way to Morlaix Bay: bring your camera along. The north and west coasts of Brittany are within 30 to 45 minutes' drive.
