- A charge of £1.50 ($3.43) applies for the use of the shower.
- Continental touring caravans (caravans built with the passenger door on the right-hand side) are not permitted.
- Reception is unmanned after 4 p.m.. Please inform the campground while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.
- Extra cars may be brought but must be parked off-site; council-managed pay-and-display parking is available nearby.

Great for mountain bikers with superb trail access. Toilets/showers are spotless. Cafe's popular for grub and friendly service. Peaceful with good views, though some pitches are sloping and close. Key needed for facilities when cafe's shut.

Disliked The location is only thing going for this place and the cheapest price but maybe up the price and do maintanence
length of grass, the slope, the mess in regards to previous users, signage, distance to toilets
when booking this you need to consider if sleeping on a slope is what you want to do because the slope is severe.
Migi's are terrible and everywhere and yes i am aware that you cant do anything but it is very worth mentioning.
If you arrive and there is no one in the cafe or shop, you cannot shower so this needs to be considered.
The grass length is rediculous and its as though they have given up on looking after this site.
Clearly less respectful people have used this site but even that is not an exscuse. Bins are provided but surely staff need to check and make sure all is clean, i do suspect that this place has been earmarked and no investment has been done. Trees over grown, grass to long, mess etc.

Liked Spotlessly clean toilets and showers. Nice cafe on site.
Perfect for accessing the MTB trails.
Disliked For non- EHU parking: Unkempt space right next to the road, which doesn't quieten down till around midnight. Hard standing is not level and ramps needed.
EHU parking is set back from the road in a much nicer situation.
£17 a night expensive for overnight parking. Showers £1.50 extra, so £20 for two people to stay. Bit steep given it's just a car park, but happy to support the Afan Forest Centre and the MTB trail maintenance.

Liked At the start of the mtb trails, great cafe, toilets and showers were very clean and the team working were very kind and helpful.
We were in a motorhome and it is a simple site with electric. We could have a firepit. Couldn't ask for much more being at the start of the trails.

Disliked Arrived and there was no way of getting tokens for the shower, so we could not shower
Bugs everywhere, we had to repack the tents and leave

Liked we liked the pitch as it was a beautiful view a bit sloping but overcame that .the facilities were clean and fresh .The staff at the cafe were very accommodating and friendly were willing to help if we needed it .It was a very tranquil and relaxing trip. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked The only thing that spoilt it was the miggies we got bitten really bad but the weather was extremely hot so not the camps fault. Not having some kind of water tap nearer the site as the hill was ok to walk down but steep to walk up.

Liked We stayed here for one night before Init together festival and it was a good location for meeting up with friends at the festival
The site is pretty basic but toilets and shower block were clean
Very friendly staff
Disliked Food only served up to 4pm unless you wanted a takeaway in which case it was 9pm
Toilets were locked at 6pm with the key left in a lock box. Only one key was available and it was a bit of a faff trying to open the box in the middle of the night in the rain! With only one key,I’m not sure what would have happened if some else wanted to use the toilet at the same time ?
Also the lights are on a timer with a very short life span.
Showers cost £1.50 for five minutes

Oh, I know. Nice woodland walks if you are fit.
Disliked Tiny pitch, only three electric pitches, no water on pitch, no chemical waste disposal, showers and toilets shut around 6pm access out of hours with a key from keys are ( empty when tried) ,noise from main road , not organised.
