Liked Not the first time we've stayed at this campsite, it's our go to for Llangollen.
Beautiful with great views and lovely owners.
lovely new toilet blocks this year too.

Liked Peaceful site with a friendly welcome. Hot, powerful showers and really clean facilities. Wonderful view. Great location as only a 10 minute walk into Llangollen. You will probably need chocks to level up and we used a wifi dongle that we had on board. They are clearly still settling in and we can’t wait to see what they do with their lovely site. If you are lucky enough to be given some cake, you are in for a delicious treat!

Liked I absolutely love this site. It's small and beautifully laid out, scenic. Not one of those site full of vans in rows. The owners are present and hands on, making sure your stay is pleasant. This site is going to take off I'm sure, it's quite new just setting up business. It's so close to llangollen centre. I will definitely go back
Disliked I didn't dislike anything. But when I stayed the dishwash area wasn't finished. It will imminently be finished though. Ring and check maybe if its important to you... this review is Feb 26, I'm sure it will be finished very quickly as it just need a plumber to connect the pipes

Liked Toilets and showers were spotless, owners were extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to make our stay special - even baking cakes to welcome us with. Plenty of space and a lovely little stream for the dogs to run around and tire themselves out in.

From the manager: Thanks Neil, thanks for your review.
You are correct we are still a work in progress but hopefully heading in the right direction at a reasonable pace having only reopened the site in July 2025.
The heaters for the washrooms have arrived this week and we hope to have them installed next week.
Re cost we charge more over the winter months as the electricity consumption rises significantly, from March onwards the cost is less. It would be uneconomical to open unless we charged more hence a lot of other sites are closed during the colder months.
We currently take no salary from the site, all income is being reinvested back into making it a great site for the future.

Great location and loved how the pitches were formed around a small area of grass.
The site is being developed by the owners and you can see the care and dedication they are putting in.
Disliked The pitch was on a hill and even with our chocks we were still not level.
However it was manageable and we will be returning .
