Idyllic!
Powered grass caravan site
Liked Idyllic, peaceful campsite with beautiful views. A small amount of touring pitches by the riverside which made it even more relaxing. Although we didn't have children with us, it was lovely to see a few gaving the freedom to play all day in the safe surroundings. I know my (now adult) children would have loved this place when they were younger. Beautifully kept gardens, spotless facilities. Just perfect for a get away from it all break. I didn't want to come home. Thank you

Brilliant site

Liked Arrived and was shown to our pitch, we were told where everything was and pitched up. The site is so clean and tidy - didn't use the shower as we are self sufficient. Toilet blocks were clean and well stocked. The river was great for all activities, there were children playing in the river as well as dogs, my husband went early morning to fish. The site is nice and quite too. Owners more than helpful. A pub and a shop was a 7 minute walk away - can recommend the pub for food ! Absolute amazing views, a perfect place to relax and chill
Disliked Having to come home :-(

From the manager: Hi, thanks so much for taking time to write a review. Really glad you liked the site, we do our best to make sure everyone feels welcome here. Sorry to hear you had some trouble with the shower. There is an isolation switch on the outside of it with a sign next to it, we ask people to switch it on/off after using it so I'm wondering if it may have been off when you tried the shower and perhaps didn't realise about the switch? Anyway, glad to hear it didn't spoil your visit and if you do return then we'll be happy to show you how it works!
