  • Adults-only park with spectacular views over the Firth of Forth
  • Largo Law walks directly from the park; St Andrews a 20-minute drive
  • Fife Coastal Path and the East Neuk fishing villages under 15 minutes
Fancy a foray to Fife? Then find yourself at family-run Forth House Caravan Site with views over the Firth of Forth. This small and scenic spot in a raised valley also looks out over sweeping farmland – see pics – with strolls to set off on nearby via a network of footpaths and country roads. The Largo Law ancient volcano towering above the fields is 20 minutes’ walk to the west, while the Fife Coastal Path passing through the characterful fishing villages of the East Neuk area is under a 15-minute car ride away. If you’ll mostly be driving or taking the bus around the region (a stop’s within walking distance of the park), sights are simple to get to from the main Upper Largo to St Andrews A915 road a few hundred metres away, yet there’s no noise from traffic to be heard from the grounds. As well as being near to St Andrews – the Home of Golf is 20 minutes’ drive away – golf courses are plentiful in the local area, with Charleton’s less than a 10-minute drive away to start off with. A little further on (15 minutes) are watersports on the coast around Elie and horse riding in the rural surrounds of Kilconquhar Castle Estate. Facilities at Forth House Caravan Site include sluices for cassette disposal, a motorhome service point and a heated toilet block with shower facilities. Wifi is also available and dogs are allowed on site.

What customers say

Top-rated, adults-only site. Praised for spotless facilities, roomy pitches, and awesome Firth of Forth views. Guests rave about cleanliness, peace, and ace staff. Mostly a quiet escape, though it can get windy (especially for tents). Small shop on-site. Minor grumbles: farm animal noise, WiFi/shower costs.

Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site

Liked Unlike other sites in high season, this site was well priced. The emails confirming our booking gave us all the information required and; we found the site easily.
We were delighted with the elevated and extensive views over the Firth of Forth towards East Lothian and Edinburgh. It’s a very rural site and quiet; well kept; and the facilities were adequate and clean. There is working WIFI!! 😊
We were met on entry and pointed to our pitch, and the gentleman made sure we were connected to our power hookup.
The location of the site is ideal for exploring east Fife.

Powered grass tent or campervan site (six person)

Liked We have stayed at many campsites over the years, but this one is, without a doubt, the most outstanding place we have ever camped. In fact, we’ve returned multiple times now, and each visit somehow manages to top the last. This isn’t just a campsite—it’s a sanctuary of peace, beauty, and genuine hospitality.

From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by the kind of tranquil atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The location is stunning—tucked away just enough to feel like a true escape, with breathtaking views that stretch out in every direction. Whether you’re waking up to soft morning mist rolling over the hills or sitting outside under a sky full of stars, there’s a constant sense of calm and quiet that’s increasingly hard to find these days.

The facilities are exceptional. The new toilet block deserves a special mention—not only is it spotless, but the showers are incredibly powerful (better than some hotels we’ve stayed in!). Everything is designed with thought and care, clearly built by people who truly understand what campers want and need.

And then there’s the heart of the place—the people.

David, the owner, is genuinely one of the kindest and most accommodating individuals we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. It’s rare to come across someone so personally invested in making every guest’s stay as perfect as possible. His warmth, attentiveness, and generosity of spirit really set this place apart. We can’t thank him enough for all he did for us.

Jim and Nola, the site wardens, are absolute treasures. They’re always present, always friendly, and always happy to help with anything you need—from practical campsite matters to simply sharing a lovely chat. Their kindness and constant good humour make such a difference to the experience of staying here. It’s clear that they love what they do, and it shows in every interaction.

It’s hard to put into words how special this campsite really is. Everything about it—from the location, the layout, the peaceful ambiance, to the people who run it—works together in harmony to create something truly memorable. You don’t just stay here; you feel something here. A sense of stillness, belonging, and care.

We’ve camped all across the UK and beyond, but this is the place we’ll keep coming back to again and again. We can’t recommend it highly enough, and we’re already counting down the days until our next visit.

If you’re looking for a campsite that combines breathtaking natural beauty with warm, thoughtful hospitality and top-notch facilities—this is it. A truly magical place.

Local attractions

For fishing village explores set off for Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem and St Monans, all less than 25 minutes’ drive away, for colourful cottages with tons of character and easy access to short coastal walks. If a city stroll with a healthy dose of fresh country air appeals, St Andrews has a cathedral and castle to peer at as well as a wide, long beach; this whole eastern coast is in fact full of sandy shores – try Shell Bay a 15-minute drive from the park if the Scottish sun makes an appearance. Further north past St Andrews is another splendid city, Dundee, on the Firth of Tay estuary with a renovated waterfront including a couple of maritime museums as well as a museum introducing visitors to the region’s jute-making history.
