Liked Love how easy going it is, friendly the guy running it is and just generally very accessible and well kept everything thing is

Disliked Could do with a very small play area for kids, like a sand pit or something. Otherwise my kids would just dig up the ground 🤣☺️

Liked The location was fabulous on the shores of Lough Ree
Very relaxed family atmosphere
Lovely clean facilities e.g toilet and shower
Great camping facilities with nice campers kitchen, washing machines available
Everything you would need for your stay
Lovely pitches and you had the opportunity to choose your pitch, electric hook up available.
Excellent WiFi

Dog friendly too

Liked We loved Everything from the pitch to the lake , ducks coming up to you,great kitchen facilities, shower's and toilets spotless,as for Jon he makes everyone feel so welcome, that's why we booked again 😁

Liked We loved this campsite. The sunsets over the lake were breathtakingly beautiful. Water sports are allowed in the lake but the site doesn’t provide the equipment.
The pitches were fully booked while we were there but it didn’t feel overcrowded.
Large pitches with electric hook up if needed. We stayed in our campervan but the tent area looked ideal and had electricity available.
Room with pool table and vending machines behind toilet areas ideal for kids or adults. Campers kitchen available and is equipped with washing machine,tumble dryer and microwave.
There is a pub within 5 minutes walk of the campsite called “the Dog and Duck”. We had drinks here and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Liked Such a spectacular setting on the lake, but also the atmosphere & vibe of the site is so chilled out & relaxing - perhaps owing to the friendly owner John - everything runs really smoothly, anything you'd want for a camping trip - and he makes it all seem so effortless. That's a really nice touch that I really appreciated. I'll definitely be returning. I also loved all the ducks to keep an eye on the place - that was special
