Unpowered grass and earth tent site

Liked A lovely small campsite, with friendly volunteers and all I needed to be comfortable. I had a pitch in the field which had plenty of space from other campers due to how to the grass was cut. I picked blackberries for breakfast every morning. Lastly I really enjoyed my evening in the sauna which was easy to use, very clean and went up to a good 85 degrees temperature.

Disliked I felt a bit worried about security at night as a solo traveller when there weren't many people around, but it seemed like a very quiet and safe village and everything was fine. The bins were also overflowing a bit and there was nowhere to compost food waste. It would be nice to be able to put it with the garden compost to go back into the food-growing.

Camping pod

Liked The peaceful setting of the community farm and the beautiful view of the landscape.

Disliked A little too far over uneven ground to the shower and flushing toilet. If you have issues with mobility you could struggle at this site.
