All in all a great weekend and we would definitely return.
Unpowered grass campervan site (small)
Liked Really quiet site. Clean facilities and great location.
Disliked The site was really full and we were at the bottom of the camping field by the fence. They have some privacy netting but not all the way along. It would have been more private if it could have been.

Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Liked I love this site. Very clean and tidy. Adult only, so very quiet.(We were there at the height of the school holidays. Facilities are clean, and there is plenty of hot water. A lovely river runs through the site. It's a 10-minute traffic-free walk into town with shops and pubs. Plenty of off-leash dog walks. Pitches are large.
Disliked Nothing really

Liked Lovely site with everything you need for your trip. Clean toilet/shower block and also toilets near to tent field. Washing up hut with microwave and kettle plus fridge/freezer which was good for our ice packs.
Disliked People using the tent field as a dog toilet - over the weekend we saw this happening 4 times. On one occasion we witnessed a dog being allowed to pee against someone's windbreak! Things to be mindful of (not in the control of the site themselves) cars racing through the gorge on the Friday night. There is a walkway on one side of the tent field, if you pitch near there be aware that people walk up and down it from early in the morning to late at night and don't talk quietly. We were woken at 0700hrs on Sunday with 2 ladies litter picking which is great but they were in between the trees literally where I was sleeping and talking like it was the middle of the day which woke both myself and my partner up.

Liked If you are looking for fantastic location, peace and relaxation this is the place for you! 5 minute walk to Sainsbury’s and a pub with lovely beer garden and wine, about 15 minutes to the gorge. Very friendly staff and the gorgeous Tazzy the dog! Excellent facilities very clean. We stayed in the field (no electric) the free WiFi did not quite reach where we were at the far end but had full sun all day and night. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!! Thank you 🤩
Disliked There was nothing we disliked. Thank you!!

Liked Non elec tent pitch for 3 nights. Arrived 6pm and able to choose the best of what was left. Freedom to choose pitch and very happy with it. Shower toilet block very good and handy wash up area with facility to store food drinks in fridge freezer. Shared elec kettle and microwave available. Dog welcomed and great spot to go exploring and leave car behind. Didn't bother with WiFi as was a get away from phones trip
Disliked Coming home
