What customers say
This adults-only spot's loved for its peace, friendly staff, and fab facilities (showers are hot!). Pitches are spacious with good views. Some mention a bit of mud, but improvements are happening. Great for exploring.

From the manager: Good Morning. Thank you for taking the time to submit a review and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay.
We sincerely apologise for the lack of hot water, we were unaware that our boiler had broken; we are now attempting to get this fixed as soon as possible.
Kind regards

Quiet and covert clean campsite.
Big Field power optional grass site
Liked The campsite was well maintained, quiet, and easy to find. The facilities were clean and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. A great spot for a peaceful stay, and I’d happily visit again.
Disliked Male and female shower block hot no hot water however, the unisex shower did. As it was a quiet period, these were always accessible. I believe this matter was in the process of getting fixed.

Drain on pitch for grey water…
Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Drain on pitch for grey water
Disliked Only one shower, with hot water, for the whole site. Had to queue or have cold, for two mornings. Not happy. Rats running about

From the manager: Thank you for submitting your review, all feedback is welcome.
We are sorry that your stay with us did not meet your expectations.
Unfortunately, the boiler that supplies the main block has broken down, and we have been waiting for our plumber to attend and assess the issue. The matter is currently being addressed.
Regarding the rats “running around,” we are aware that there have been a couple spotted recently. As we are situated next to a busy farm, rodents can occasionally be drawn to the area due to the surrounding food sources. Please be assured that they are field rats, and we are taking appropriate measures to control and manage the situation.
Kind regards

Liked Well organised, beautifully maintained. Arrived late but clear instructions left. Friendly accommodating owners. Shower facilities very clean and spacious.
Disliked Unfortunately boiler was broken so only 1 shower facility available. Went out early for appointment, arrived back to find pitch taken.

From the manager: Good Morning
Thank you for your feedback.
We are very sorry that, when you returned from your run, your pitch had been occupied by another caravan. When a pitch has been vacated on the day of departure, and unless we have been informed otherwise, we generally assume that the customer has departed early .
Sincere apologies

Great small campsite, quiet, flat, great welcome and great facilities.
Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Warm welcome plus well kept pitches. Water tap on pitch with drain. Great experience, warm atmosphere. Our dog and me loved the walk in the wood it was long enough as he is 13 years old. Lots to do and visit in the local area. Walk from camp to craft centre or walk to a couple of pubs/restaurants, so has lots to offer if you book and stay there. We used to live in the Poole area, for 20 years so there is A LOT of places to visit!!!!. A working farm plus camping site has the right balance and works well. Wi-Fi was 10 out of 10 .Good experience, easy to find, staff great and we will be coming again and again
Disliked No area to let dog off lead on site but as stated earlier we know the area, so we know where we can. The staff can also advise you on this subject.

Lovely site facilities good and clean
Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked The pitches were well maintained and the site was well laid out! The lady on Reception was very pleasant!
Disliked The drains on the pitches had no guards on them or they were broken, dangerous if you had dogs!

Well maintained, clean, plenty to do in the local area.
Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Lovely site, divided up into smaller areas so doesn’t feel really big, lots of seasonal pitches occupied. Pitches were a decent size, fitted our 6.8m caravan without any problems. Our pitch was also (unexpectedly) fully serviced so we had everything we needed very close by.
5 minute drive to Upton House Parkrun (if you fancy it), 20 minute drive to Poole harbour, 20 minute drive to Kingston Lacy National Trust. Plenty to keep us occupied for a weekend away.
Toilet block was always clean, 3 loos and 3 warm showers in the Ladies, they also have a Unisex toilet available.
A small ‘club house’ on site with darts, TV, DVD player, soft seats to get comfortable in, a well stocked book swap/library, and a heater. Dogs welcome inside so great for any campers that might need a break from the British weather.
It’s an adult only site so rather than lots of children there were a lot of dogs! Most were under their owners control so not a problem at all, just made for some early morning noise when they came across each other and had a good bark.
Definitely a site we’d come back to when in the area again.
Disliked Can’t think of anything.

Brilliant site in rural setting with wonderful site staff.
Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Brilliant site. Nice large pitches in a peaceful, rural setting. Lovely, clean shower/ toilet block with great hot showers. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. The site manager and receptionist are fantastic and have made our stay really enjoyable and special. Easy access to places like Wimborne, Wareham and to the Purbecks as well as Poole. Can’t fault the site at all.
Disliked Nothing. We’ve had a lovely stay.
