What customers say
Great spot on the Tarka Trail, awesome for biking/walking. New, clean loos and showers a hit. Peaceful, friendly staff, on-site brewery/pizza loved. Spacious, level pitches, many with estuary views. Some found it pricey, but most highly recommend.

Liked We loved the lovely new facilities- showers, toilets and washing up room. We loved the closeness to the Tarka Trail. The micro brewery which served delicious pizza was also a bonus. We loved that we were allowed to have a campfire- but only because it was above the ground.
Disliked Not a major dislike - just pity the fresh water tap was quite far from the pitch.

Liked Spotlessly clean site and facilities. Liked the quiet position. Excellent base for that corner of north devon, such a friendly and welcoming lady running the site that week.
Easy flat walk into instow ( about 35 mins ) a few drinks and lunch in instow then the bus ( 20 or 21A) back to the stop outside the site .
Small pop up bar separate to site , brews his own ale run by Lawrence who let’s say is eccentric 😄.
Disliked Probably a little expensive for a site not close to the beach. But tbf it was quiet , spotless and that keeps the chavs away 😄

Well manicured peaceful site with excellent toilet facilities
Unpowered grass campervan site
Liked Access to Tarka Trail. Went with 9 & 11 year olds so nice to have option for one of us to cycle and the other to stay on campsite & chill with Granny. Lovely new toilet block, large pitches and quiet site. Half hour's drive to Saunton Sands.

Excellent site with direct access to the tarka trail
Powered grass motorhome site
Liked Excellent facilities and very friendly staff. Pitch size was great, plenty of room and extremely convenient for the tarka trail with direct access. Instow and Fremington quay just an hour away by foot.
Lots of spaces to have a picnic and a picnic table for each pitch.
The onsite brewery and food was a great addition.
Disliked Nothing all was great, longer opening hours for the pub would be nice.

Liked Staff were very welcoming and helpful. They gave us maps and had great local knowledge.
The tarka trail is at the bottom of the campsite so perfect for walking or cycling- all flat too.
Facilities were brilliant- new clean toilets and showers . Some of the best we have used.
WiFi was good too!
Bus stop at the top of the road was really handy too.
Onsite brewery was the most surreal/funny evening we have ever spent in a brewery- pizza was fabulous too.
Disliked Nothing at all

The position of the site was great, right on the Tarka Trail. We also visited Sandbanks Cafe which was great. The Brewery next door is an experience.
