Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked What can I say...this site ticked all the boxes for me. In the middle of the countryside, no light pollution, not busy at all, the dog had the freedom to wander and the host was super friendly and informative. I will definitely use again and again.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked For those who like camping with the bare essentials this is a stunning little spot.

Lots of land to explore, the children loved the woods and the stream. As well as spotting lots of different types of wildlife.

The owners were very helpful and welcoming, and provided us with a fire pit and logs so we could have a fire (and most importantly smores).

Incredibly quiet and peaceful get away for us, the children and the dogs.

The compost toilet was clean and easy to use. There was a solar panelled charging area in the second field.

We will definitely be back.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked You choose your own space on arrival so get the view you want and lots of space to choose from so great if there was a group of you. Lots of space between other tents. The Sun is in the field all day. Lots of space to explore and camp fire circle in the woods. The owners took time to show us around the forest and explained the features that make it a temperate rain forest. A quite site all you can hear is rye sounds of nature, got to see and hear lots of different birds. The field shelter is a great addition and we used the cooking platform for our disposable BBQ which saved bending over. The compost toilet isn't the traditional type and the waste is separate so no nasty smells even on a very hot day. A great stay and will be back again. WiFi reception was good all over the site even in the woods in the bottom of the valley.
